"We hired Joe to finish/remodel our basement after reviewing so many positive reviews on home advisor. Me and my wife can definitely can say that we are very pleased with Joe. Joe did an excellent job finishing our basement. Worked was done in a timely manner without comprising quality that was paramount for us. Despite a few challenges with the area around Radeon and sub pump. He worked with us with the flexibility to accommodate our concerns and requirement without an additional cost. The best part was that we did make some changes from the original plan, he also accommodated those with a smile on the face. I will recommend Joe at any give day and time. Thanks, Joe. "Jim is such a down to earth, honest, guy. It shines through in everything he does! He is an advocate when fighting with insurance companies to get coverage. He follows through, even when its an issue with a different contractor. He will jump right in and try to remedy whatever the situation is. We met Jim 5 years ago when we moved and needed a bathroom redone. We have had so many things happen since then and he has just been a blessing in my families eyes. I dont know what we would do without him! I recommend this company all the time and would recommend them to anyone searching for services!"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
