"Patio Enclosures was fantastic, the subcontractors that came to do the job were not. However, Patio Enclosures sent two Field Supervisors over to spend and entire day addressing all of our concerns. Overall, their customer service is what made us happy with this project and we absolutely love our 3-season room!"

"<p>Absolutely first-rate job from start to finish. The crew came on time, and were very courteous. Workmanship, from roofing to electrical, to windows and finish carpentry was all very high quality.</p> <p>The job took 2 days longer than originally estimated, only because they ran into a few unforeseen issues. This did not affect the project price at all.</p> <p>The vinyl floor install took two extra weeks to complete, mainly because of product defect and had to re-order. However, this was out of control of Great Day.</p> <p>In the end we had a lovely new enclosed porch/entryway to our home, complete with skylites and tongue and groove wainscoting and cathedral ceilings that turned out better than expected,,at a very reasonable price. Thanks, guys. </p> . <br />"

"Making the decision to replace windows on your home can be scary. I had 2 other companies come out before Pace and I picked them for they were willing to work with me on all issues. Sales representative Mark S. did a excellent demonstration on their product and was willing to take the time to answer all my questions. I was able to do back of my house (6 windows) in Fall of 2017 and front of house (8 windows) in the Spring of 2018 making it easier to come up with the money which I would owe. Their price was lower then the other companies and their customer service was excellent. Jessica in the office helped with any questions I had and the installers both times Fall and Spring did a great job. They have an excellent Lifetime Transferrable Warranty. If I did not believe in this company I would not have written a review on Angie's List. Very pleased with all that was done and with product and highly recommend this company. :)"

"Kaz did a great job. Although they were not the cheapest, we wanted quality windows (Andersen), wanted New Construction (Big L would not do new construction) and got good references from two past Kaz customers who had similar projects. Especially important to use was keeping the interior molding (original) in tact. Although project was started after they originally told us, the quality was exceptional. Everything was done from outside so interior molding was not disturbed much. Any that was, was corrected and touch-up painting was done after the project on each and every window. The quality of the windows is great, the exterior aluminum work looks good. The crew showed up on time each day, were very respectful of the interior of the house, putting tarps down and cleaning up each evening. They estimated 2 1/2 weeks for entire job (22 windows) and got it done in less than 2 weeks. We were very happy with the work."

"They're top-notch. I built five homes and these guys are first-rate, absolutely the best in the Western New York area. They're just great and I can't be positive enough about that. Their ethics stands out most to me. It's a "Do it right" concept and if clients can't afford to do it right, they'll have to find another provider. They solve problems in advance; these guys are so skilled and they've been around remodeling old homes for so long that they know the problems that they're going to encounter that I have never thought about. It saved me a ton of money and the quality of work is so outstanding. They have a positive attitude and they're excellent communicators. These folks have a long history of craftsmanship. I've gotten to know these people personally over the years as a result of working on my two houses. I can call them up and they'll come out and take care of issues right away. They're not the most expensive and they're certainly not the cheapest."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Niagara Falls, NY

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
