When he it all back together, he discovered that the problem was fixed by drying the components.IA few days later, I found that the ice dispenser wasn't working when it had been before the initial problem. Jeff came back, pulled the motor and left it to dry, suggesting that we could put it back in a day or two. He was in the neighborhood the next day, however, and came over to put it back together. It worked and now all is well. That was an additional $80 charge which I was very happy to pay. <br /> I highly recommend this repair shop. From my first phone call with Allison to Jeff's visits to my house, I felt like they paid attention to the problem I described and did what was necessary to fix it without any wasted time or money. I'm particularly happy that he didn't just throw parts at the fridge, but made the effort to find the problem and resolve it. I certainly will use them again. <br />"

"Gary, the owner of GT Electronics, contacted us immediately and came on the day before New Years eve to diagnose the problem. He found that the Costco guys that assembled the dryer had not connected the electrical hook up correctly (which could have resulted in one of us being shocked via 220V, or started a fire - something to think about when ordering thru Costco). He rush ordered the repair parts, and came on New Years Day to complete the repair. It works properly now. I have no complaints, only compliments for Gary."

They went over all the 'how to' information with me & actually took time to show me & have me try everything. They were good. It was a very positive experience. "I called Peninsula Appliance Service on a Friday and they were able to come over the following Monday. We received a call Monday morning that they would be at the house between 11 and noon and they were. Very punctual and professional company. The appointment started off by photographing all the details of the refrigerator and putting into a records file on a laptop. The fridge was pulled out and Mike the technician performed the service in about 30 minutes. There was a service call fee of $85 in addition to the labor cost so the bill was a little higher than expected. Mike did troubleshoot a garbage disposal problem while he was here and we can fix that ourselves now and save the cost of a plumber. So I rated the price good, and I would recommend PAS to friends and neighbors. <br />"
