Ryan Corley, Mr. Electric’s wire detection specialist, was able to locate the wire accurately. Electricians Jeff Shipkosky and Khefren Johnson spent two and a half very long days, in 93-degree heat, digging around the perimeter of my house. Both ends of the damaged wire were eventually located six feet underground, which is considerable deeper than code requires. Justin David, Mr. Electric’s manager, was here working alongside his men and provided all the support possible to them. He maintained full contact and communication with me throughout the entire process. These men, along with a crew of assistants, are a class act company. Actually I bought it through Angie's List. I had them come out and perform the service last week. The person who came out to do the service was fine and was a nice, personable fellow. He was considerate of the property. The price was as expected. There were no extra services they were trying to sell and charge me more. They came out and did almost exactly what they said they would. One of the service included in there is a video feed of before and after, because you can't really tell whether your ducting is clean or not. The air duct is not something visible. It is not like you are going to see dust spewing out of your vent registers so one of the things they offered when I bought it was a video feed of before and after of the photograph of it. I didn't see that. I was not aware that there would be a limitation on taking photographs or videos if the duct is a certain size or anything like anything like that. When the guy came out he said he just can't do that so I did not get the before and after photo so we would have a physical confirmation on whether the service was really necessary or not. Regardless I bought the service so I would have gotten it done, but it would have been nice to know that. That was the big thing to sell from their point of view. There were actually a couple of bigger issues that showed up after the work was performed. He explained what he was doing and he worked hard. It was only one fellow that showed up. He seemed to have done whatever he was supposed to do. At the end of the service we had requested that the air conditioning be turned back on to make sure all the system performs correctly. I started to have problems with the furnace blower -- the fan would go on and then go off in a couple of seconds. He suggested that I call either HVAC service people or electricians because he thought there was some issue with the electrical associated with the house remodeling. To which I responded back to him and said the house had been running fine until that morning that he showed up. After he left I went back down to the furnace room  to double check why things are not coming on. What I noticed was that he pinched a wire that comes from the thermostat into the furnace blower so none of that was working correctly. I un-pinched the wire and it started to work correctly.  So my issue with that was that he did not inspect his after work. He did not check his work. The real safety issue is that he blew out the pilot light on my furnace. He should have checked the pilot light on a gas furnace. I relit it and things were good, but if I had not done that it is a safety issue.

"I had a power outage in the back of my house that has two refrigerators. I called to electrical contractors in Warren. The first one I left a voice mail then called the emergency number and left a message there. After about an hour I didn't hear from him so I called the next number I had and left a message he called back a little while later told him what I had and he tried to blow it off to the electric company. I had tried to see what the problem was myself when I got to the point I didn't know what was wrong. I went to Angie's List then Home Advisor. Fifteen minutes later I get a call from Good's. I told her what I had and we scheduled the appointment. The tech called me on the morning of the appointment and said he was on his way. When he arrived I told what I had and what I did. He looked at my panel and said it was an old one which I knew because its the same panel that's been there since I was a kid. He said he could get me going again and he'd give a couple of options on what I could do. He told me that I was going to have to replace that old panel because if I decided to sell the house I'd have to bring it up to code. I had a choice of replacing everything from the top of the house to the panel in the basement which included putting the wiring in conduit or not. I chose to have the wiring in conduit replacing the meter box and the breaker panel box. We scheduled the appointment and that morning he called to tell me he was on the way. When he got there he and his partner went right to work taking out the old wiring the meter box and old panel out. They replaced everything including putting conduit up for the wiring and a new 100 amp panel. I have to tell you that the only way you know they have been here is because of the new equipment they installed because they cleaned up all the old equipment and hauled it away. I am very appreciative of the customer service and professionalism I was shown by the techs. I will be using them from now on and recommend them to anyone who needs electrical heating or AC work. I can't say enough good things about them."
