"I contacted Steve at Texas Roof and Fence last fall to get bids on my house and a rent house that had hail damage.  he was very responsive to those requests and quickly got me a bid.
I'm probably not the easiest customer to do business with and I wasn't thrilled with some of his terms and conditions so he agreed to changes I requested.  I'm not sure why but it took a few months to get his signed agreement back to me.  My impression is Steve has a lot of balls in the air and sometimes thinks he has done something he hasn't. 
The roof replacement was done last week.  I am still waiting on the barn roof and gutters which were supposed to be done this week but it's not looking like they will be.
Steve set a high bar and high expectations committing to cleaning up daily which his team didn't do.  He also told me when they cleaned up it would be spotless which it wasn't.   Steve said it was unrealistic to expect they would get more than 99% of the nails, etc.
He may have done better than most roofers would have.  I had high expectations based on the strong reviews he had on Angie's List and in Denton and his representations which fell a little short.  Not sure how much of that is because my expectations were too high and some because his crew or he didn't do what he said they would.

Most of the fence was done very well but one of the posts shifted while the concrete was drying so the top has over a 1” tilt to it. When I brought it up, I was told there was nothing they could do about it which means they didn’t want to reset a new post for a cosmetic issue but now the first thing I see every day is a listing post.

For the gate, he only had 2 latches, I opted for the more expense one which ended up being a latch that looked like it should be on a barn door and not a residential gate. So I had to replace it but I take partial responsibility as I approved it without seeing it.

The fence was put along a garden bed and was told that wouldn’t be a problem but a number of the plants where flatted and trampled on and had to be pulled out.

"I had a good experience. I had trouble getting him scheduled, but it actually wasn’t his fault. He’s got government contracts that he was trying to fulfill. They came all at once, so he was behind. Once he showed up he would be here on time. They finished it in 2 days. It was a good length stretch of fence and they came in they put in the post, they came back the next day and hung the fence. "Too expensive. I hired another fence provider to do the same job for about 1/2 the price. Prime Fencing quoted me a turnkey price of $1500 to install an iron railing around a small 5'x6' front porch, and hand railings down both sides of four steps. I wound up hiring another contractor who did the same work for a turnkey price of $775. I'm glad I shopped around for another quote.

Update: 
Although I did not use Prime Fencing for the small job I needed done, I appreciate the time they spent answering my Angies List comments. The next time I need any fencing, I will again call Prime Fencing for a quote. I don't always use the least expensive provider, but on that one house I really needed to cut costs. Thank you Prime Fencing, and I'm sure we will be doing business in the future! The vast majority of companies do not take the time to answer a review if they did not get the job. These folks are true pros. Give them a call for a quote!"
