He removed an old one piece fiberglass shower and installed a beautiful tile shower including tiling the ceiling of the shower and installing a new shower door. In addition, matching floor tile was installed along with a new vanity top, faucets, mirrors and lights. Wayne was very easy to work, dedicated completely to our job over the 2 weeks that he worked on our project, showed up every morning at the same time and everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. "The Just Bathrooms team did an excellent job installing a new step-in shower. They removed our existing tub/ shower, as I have issues with my legs stepping over the tub edge. The shower is low maintenance. They installed grab bars, magnetic shower head, a stool, and a dimmer light above. They also painted all the bathroom walls. Plus, they installed a new faucet in our small bathroom. We had used Just Bathrooms a number of years ago for another bathroom project that turned out perfect. "We had an addition put onto our house last year. There were endless delays, the project took much longer than estimated, and the equipment brought in tore up the yard and driveway. When cutting into the house the wall to my daughters bedroom and the living room were punched through and suffered water damage, which they magnanimously painted the one wall to cover. The yard and driveway were never addressed because it “isn’t part of the contract”. Hence, the outlet pipe for the sump pump was simply run about ten feet straight out from the house, a foot above ground. Speaking of which, the sump pump is pretty much UNDER THE BEDROOM FLOOR. The final straw for me was when I requested plain ceramic light fixtures in the closet, and was given shoddy, overpriced plastic fixtures, with the excuse being that the ceramic ones weren’t available anywhere. I’m not going to say that I was lied to, but it took me all of a trip to Walmart to find them, and replace them myself. When I presented the contractor with the cheap lights, I got a guilt trip about how he was going to have to eat the cost of them. Pity. Shortly after construction, I had an unrelated plumbing problem and contacted the plumber we used, and Apex demanded a cut before I could get the work done. Said it’s how he keeps his guys “loyal”. I ended up paying an extra $80ish for precisely nothing. So here I am, some 14 months later and still finding little problems cropping up and fixing them at my expense as they do. I’m not happy, but based on previous interactions, I guess ‘happy’ just wasn’t covered in the contract. To be fair, the overall construction is satisfactory I suppose. It looks nice and doesn’t creak in the high wind that we get here. The roof and windows don’t leak and the floors are solid, but on the other hand the walls and floor are cold as **** in winter (work was completed in summer, so who knew), and the pipes and air ducts are poorly (see also: not) insulated, which I didn’t even think was a thing. Hence, the entire section is more or less an icebox after November. Apparently I didn’t know enough to protect myself in this situation. Hindsight being 20/20, I would not use this company again."

"Adam is the ultimate professional ! His designer Russ was amazing , professional and easy to work with ! The entire team at Custom home medic were truly mindful craftsman. My wife and I are incredibly particular , and they met all of our needs and exceeded all expectations. This is now our favorite room in our house , our laundry room , it’s almost silly to say . They where incredibly clean and took Covid 19 seriously .( this was a huge deal to us as my wife was pregnant at the time ) They came in under their competition bc they don’t over charge in design, and their cabinet quality is truly awesome. I made several change requests after work was started and Adam’s reaction to my requests were just awesome. He and his crew didn’t complain , he communicated so clearly and honestly. For the first time we had a contractor not surprise us with the final bill. He actually came in under our total estimates with change orders. He and Russ both followed up with us to insure we were pleased with everything. They truly went above and beyond. They helped us source matching totes , at no charge bc we were struggling with our choices ! The dog washing station was custom fit to our Great Dane , who is huge and heavy. They moved and installed my safe free of charge ( a device that was going to cost us hundreds and hundreds of dollars. ) They brought packages left on our porch inside our home , followed all of our HOA’s crazy rules , brought in our trash cans , and even showed up on time every day. If you want a contractor that communicates with you openly and honestly , treats his professional staff of actual full time employees well , and is honest , hire Adam and his team. We asked for 50 pounds of stuff in a 10 pound box and Adam made it awesome while Russ made it all look good while functioning. Adam helped source the laundry baskets , cleaned our cats litter box that was in his workspace , kept our house clean , AND HE COMMUNICATED WITH US DAILY HONESTLY. HE STAYED ON TIME AND UNDER BUDGET. Don’t get fooled by the other guys that use subcontractors and wanna be designers. Use the team with the ambulances , use Custom Home Medic. This is now our go to contractor for jobs big and small. Adam even talked me through a diy project I was doing weeks after his project was done and he had been paid for free then came by to check on me and actually spent 30 minutes finishing my project for me , for free. Not joking people. Use Adam , use Custom Home Medic !!!"
