"We are extremely pleased with the work that Wayne completed on our Master Bathroom. He removed an old one piece fiberglass shower and installed a beautiful tile shower including tiling the ceiling of the shower and installing a new shower door. In addition, matching floor tile was installed along with a new vanity top, faucets, mirrors and lights. Wayne was very easy to work, dedicated completely to our job over the 2 weeks that he worked on our project, showed up every morning at the same time and everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. We would highly recommend Wayne."

Customers say: Quality work

"My daughter had Keith completely remodel a bath for her a few years ago and was ecstatic over the entire experience. She had a young son at the time who was always barefoot. Keith left each day with no dangers for the boy. Fast forward to now - I needed a bathtub removed and shower installed for my elderly mother and I had a limited amount of time to get it done. Keith was able to squeeze us in and in only 2 days the tub was gone, the shower installed with glass doors along with our special requests of a lower shower head and hand-held option as well as installing a heat lamp-ventilation fan combo. Mom is quite happy with her new shower that she is able to get in and out of on her on :-)"

"The initial consultation was incredibly long. But they did explain everything thoroughly. We have a shower installed and it looks phenomenal. They definitely did a good job."

"We could not be more pleased with the work of CSI's Oscar Moran, who handled the complete overhaul of our bathroom. We have a smallish bathroom - the only one in the house - and Oscar came to give us a price on ripping down the walls and ceiling, ripping up the floor and rebuilding the whole thing. We had a design but Oscar was SO helpful in leading us through important things to think about. We picked Oscar over other contractors because he seemed immediately like someone we could work with, who could we talk things over with and who would be practical with us as we worked through problems. And there were some. Termite damage, plumbing weirdness, uneven joists. In every case, Oscar talked over options with us, made recommendations and cheerfully proceeded with whatever we decided. In several cases, Oscar called us in before he completed some work to make suggestions that he thought would improve what we had originally planned — and he was right every time. In addition, he was an absolutely professional and his work was flawless. We are thrilled with our bathroom and his amazing work. Thanks to Oscar and CSI."

"Met Keagan when he installed my step in tub for American Standard. Showed up on time and did a excellent job with the installation and explained everything and answered all my questions throughly. Felt very comfortable having him in my home. Would definitely hire him for any future jobs."

Customers say: Quality work

"At the beginning the work started well but by the end the quality of work especially the drywall was subpar. Tom is slow in getting a quote to you but does respond. Tom is very nice but his staff is not professional especially Dave. I thought with Tom being in business as long as he has would be able to provide in a professional manner quality work. It is not true. Tom asked if I wanted his guys to take up the carpet. I thought ok. However, they tore up to 10 inches of drywall off many of the walls. They attempted to repair them but the work was subpar. I thought they were winding up work so I contacted the painters. The painters came in. There was tension between the paint foreman and Tom's crew. They were squabbling like elementary children on the playground. (I am not happy with the painters either but this is a separate matter) The walls unfortunately got painted with the poor drywall job. The painter did provide a drywall person to repair the worse spots. There are still poor spots on the walls but I wanted Tom and his crew out of my space. Each of the respective parties were blaming each other. This behavior is so unprofessional. On Friday last week, Dave was yelling at me over errors I did in trying to improperly apply color to the walls so I could see what it looked like (I applied the paint way before any drywall began). Again, because of poor communication the painters just painted over the poor drywall job. I did agree to pay for it since it was my mistake that should have been brought to my attention long before it was even painted over. Dave did such a bad job that there were air bubbles in the drywall because he did not let it set before he painted over it. Tom did have his other guy fix it. It looks better but not perfect. I had Tom put two new toilets in the space. There is now a big gash in the brand new floor where the floor doe not meet the toilet. There was not even going to be an attempt on Tom's part to fix this. In my opinion, all of the unnecessary drywall could have been avoided by properly having his guys take up the carpet right to begin with. I paid over $8,000 for unnecessary drywall, If you only have Tom's crew do the bare minimum that you need done for your project, then you are in good shape but BEWARE of them doing anything extra as it will cost you!"

FAQs for walk in tub installation and replacement projects in Noblesville, IN

Because Medicare classifies walk-in tubs as non-durable medical equipment, it generally won’t pick up the tab. Medicaid can help if a doctor certifies that the tub is medically necessary, but rules change by state. Call your plan early, ask which forms you need, and keep any prescriptions or letters on file to improve your odds of reimbursement.

A walk-in bathtub’s fill and drain times hinge on your home’s water pressure and the tub’s hardware. Most models with a fast-fill faucet need about six to eight minutes to fill and two to three minutes to drain; larger basins or standard drains can tack on an extra 10 minutes. Stay seated until the water is completely gone so you don’t swing the door open on a full tub’s worth of water.

A walk-in bathtub holds 50 gallons of water, and its design supports capacities that range from 40 to 80 gallons, depending on the product. In contrast, a standard bathtub holds 25 to 45 gallons. This capacity is determined by the fixed design of the tub and its construction materials. Homeowners should review the detailed product specifications to confirm the exact volume available for use during bath time.

Walk-in tubs are tax-deductible when the purchase qualifies as a necessary medical expense and meets the IRS criteria. Caregivers who install a walk-in tub also qualify for the Dependent Care Tax Credit under specific conditions. Homeowners must verify these requirements with the IRS and consult a tax professional, as state and program guidelines enforce strict documentation standards for such deductions.
