"I hired Daryl to convert my electric stove to gas. He was very friendly and charged a very reasonable price. He even called back about a week later to check his work. He wanted to know if after cooking had I discovered it not being level or any issues. I had no problems and appreciated that he was concerned with the quality of his work. I will call Daryl first if I have a project and find out if it is in his wheel house"

"Manny was both punctual, professional and knowledgeable in his assessment of my Rental Property kitchen and Laundry Appliances. I trusted his diagnostics with regards to the newly installed kitchen oven and missing ice-maker bin for the automatic ice maker bin. He ordered the parts and returned to replace parts as needed in an efficient, prompt and professional manner. I specially appreciate his professionalism as he noted that factory had not sent the correct ice-maker replacement bin for my freezer equipment and immediately re-ordered it. It was replaced today, Monday 29, June, 2020. In the interim, Manny kept me a rest of the status on delivery of the correct replacement part for this equipment . The cost informed below includes the initial $75/Service Call plus $185/Labor."

"Timothy was very knowledgeable and professional. He diagnosed the problem with non-functioning washer. After discussing the problem with him and getting a price quote for repairing the problem, we decided not to do the repair, but to replace instead. I'd certainly be willing to use Mr. Appliance in the future, and to recommend them to others."

"Alex was fantastic—he handled the removal of our old microwave and installation of the new one with professionalism, responsiveness, and real attention to detail. He even had to get creative to make everything work in a challenging space, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again for similar jobs."

"Mike is hands down the best handyman around. First off, he's an honest guy. We were looking for a deal on an air conditioner installment so we figured Mike could do the job and we would buy the unit & save some money. When we asked him, he was up front and said have the company you buy it from to do the install and get the warranty. Honest answer from a good guy. We have used his services for three years as have several of our neighbors. He is timely, responsible, and his work is great. We've hired him for garage door repair, to fix broken windows, electrical work, powerwashing, you name it. The neighbors we have referred to Mike are very glad to have him ad a handyman ad well."

Small jobs welcome

"JC's work was terrific. He fixed an exterior door that was not closing properly, replaced interior drywall that was damaged by leak, fixed a portion of a damaged 6' high privacy fence, hid the wall TV wires behind the drywall, repaired a china cabinet door. Definitely will re-hire. He was prompt, dependable and I was very happy with the results. I gave him a punch list and he did it!"

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Nokesville, VA

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
