He did a fantastic job, and had suggestions for me so that my other projects and future repairs would be easier. We are going to have him back to replace a window in the near future (it is already on order).

He was thorough, on time, and fair in the price. He let us know in advance that he wouldn't know the full extent of the damage or cost until he opened the walls up to start the work. Once he did, he was really fast, and did superior work. And he took the time to explain what he was doing and why it was important. Overall, he really wanted to do a great job (not just a good job). And he succeeded. I have already recommended him to my co-workers too.

We were really fortunate to have found Jim. And we plan to use him for future projects. He is just an all around great person in addition to being an expert carpenter.

"Great Jeff Patterson came out checked roof, did minor repairs as part of deal. Roof needed some shingles replaced and end caps repaired. Jeff gave price we agreed and were told someone would be out in week or two. next day guy came out and did the work. couldn't ask for better action. told roof would last 4 to 5 years and that was a pleasant surprise as every one around us having new roofs ."

"I initially contacted Tommy through the Angie's List website, and he called me promptly to set up an appointment to visit my home and review the work I wanted done. He then followed up with an email giving me a quote for the work. Since I felt the quoted price was reasonable and he had such good reviews, we scheduled the work for the next week. I became ill later that week, and Tommy worked with me to reschedule. On the first work day, Tommy and his assistant, Lou, arrived as scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and immediately began covering furniture with clean plastic, tenting kitchen cabinets, covering floors with drop cloths, and taping woodwork. Smaller items, such as dining room chairs, were even moved into the garage. Although I offered them lunch, both said that they preferred to work straight through the day. Since I still was not feeling well, I ended up going into a bedroom to lie down and ended up falling asleep. When I awoke at 5:30, they had left, but not before removing all plastic and drop cloths, replacing the furniture, and sweeping the floor. The second day went much as the first, except that I changed my mind about the color for one of the rooms, and Tommy made a special trip to the paint store to get the new paint. The bedroom, bathroom, and den were completed that day, the plaster in the garage was repaired, and Tommy installed the under-cabinet lighting (not normally one of their services but done as a special favor since I had no one else to do it). My house was left in perfect order when they finished, and they even borrowed my vacuum to make sure that the floors were left clean. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Always Painting by Tommy. Not only is the quality of their work outstanding, but I felt that their prices were fair. They were prompt and reliable and provided good follow through when minor issues arose. Both Tommy and Lou are gentlemen who conduct themselves professionally, take obvious pride in their work, and go out of their way to try to please the customer. I have already had them back for another smaller painting job and would not hesitate to recommend them to others who might need their services. In fact, a family member who is renovating a house will be calling them for a quotation when they are ready to paint this spring.

"We have used A-1 since we purchased our home and they have done the yearly inspections. Any noticeable termite activity was always promptly take care of. We recently had them redo the whole house exterior treatment when more termite activity was noticed. The tech that came out to do the inspection and treatment seemed very knowledgeable and was very thorough. Overall we are very happy with the work provided."

The job was professionally done.  Very nice work at a very reasonable price.  I give them an B overall and I would use them again based upon their price, the quality of their work and their professionalism, those were all "A" caliber.  There is one issue of which consumers should be aware and that is timeliness of service.   We purchased the "big deal" through Angie's list back on 19 August and paid the $599 then. Initial communication and scheduling was not the greatest, but they did schedule a site visit to assess the job. Upon review of the job, they suggested a modification - this was not a typical upsell, it was a good suggestion and at a very reasonable price again.  However, following the visit, it took a few months to complete the job.  The job was started and completed today, December 2nd.  The work was done in a day, and as previously noted done quite professionally. Again, overall I'd give them the B because they did outstanding work at a very reasonable price, but if you have an urgent repair or project then you may want to think about it.
