"I highly recommend W.T Anderson for any roofing need for the follow reason. The five member roofing crew arrived early Monday morning and began to go to work. The on-sight supervisor introduced herself and provided me with her phone in case I had questions or concerns. Every team member was assigned a task and worked efficiently with little wasted effort. The team remained focus on the job at hand even when the sight supervisor was not present (which was not often or long). The company’s owner made sure to visit the sight throughout the day. His enthusiasm and positivity for the job was mirrored by all at the job sight. The job consisted of removal of 2 layers of shingles, remove and re-install 3 Solar Tubes, replace 3 vent covers (2 bathroom and 1 kitchen), installed 3 Easy Sleeve pipe flashing (a product I recommend, made by a local Virginia company), replacing of 11 sheets of roof sheathing (a lot of water damage during the 30+ years since the first layer was installed, not surprised), installed Weather Watch leak barrier along eaves, rakes, around chimney and all roof penetrations, install underlayment and finally the shingles. I was expecting the job to take 2 days (especially after the water damage was found). However, the job was done in one day and the dumpster was picked up the next day. I cannot express how impressed I am with the thoroughness with which the clean-up was done. I climbed on the roof and inspected the work I was quite pleased with the overall job. I did find one discrepancy (one of the Easy Sleeves was installed incorrectly). Once the company was informed the owner can out the next day to see for himself. He tried to fix it right then and there, but was unable to. The next day the crew was out to remove and replace (with new material) the Easy Sleeve. I am absolutely happy that I chose W.T Anderson for my roofing project. Although their quote was not the lowest, the combination of good reviews and the positive impression I had after the owner’s visit to formulate a bid was central in the selection (I had four roofing quotes). They were very responsive during the whole process (bid, work and follow up) and I would highly recommend them."

"In 2006 we remodeled our home, without replacing our roof. It was not a good experience by any means. So when we decided last year to get a new roof my wife and I were determined that we would do our due diligence to ensure our searching would lead us to a reliable construction team. We searched local FB pages and websites for several months. Several companies we contacted did not even show up to provide a quote! When we found Matrix Construction, and Nelson Pena, we were immediately pleased with his knowledge and eagerness to take on our project. The pandemic and some other unavoidable situations caused delays until this past April 2021. Nelson and his team were hard-working, knowledgeable, and prompt. Even when a change in the design (we decided to get a ridge vent), caused several weeks delay due to back orders, Nelson stayed in contact with us during the delay, and let us know as soon as he had the product to restart. During the work Nelson found a number of spots where wood had rotted and needed to be replaced. Several spots were from the 2006 remodel, showing that the work done then by another company was subpar. We are thrilled with the finished product, as well as the final bill. We have gotten many compliments from friends and family. We heartedly recommend Nelson, and Matric Construction."

"Atlantic Services replaced our old roof with GAF Lifetime Architectural Shingles.   The estimate included the removal of the old shingles, several damaged pieces of plywood and an old attic fan.  The roof replacement included the installation of one layer of commercial grade felt paper, ice and water shield, starter shingles, re-flashing all walls, installation of ridge vent on all ridges (including the shed), the replacement of all pipe collars with double collars and painting of all stacks and vents with anti-rust paint.  The work was completed within 2 days.  The owner, Mr. Lego was very helpful.  He thoroughly explained the entire process and answered all of our questions.  He brought over several different shingle colors and was instrumental in final color selection.  Mr. Lego was on the roof working with the crew and had direct oversight of the job.  They were all very professional.  I would not hesitate to use this company again.

"I hired Rich off Thumbtack under the Ironman Exteriors LLC name to do a deck and potentially a porch. The porch was an add on, kind of an asterisk to the contract, a few $k to the main job of the deck. Rich was very up front about cost and time expectations and his crew including JP demo’d an existing and built a great looking deck. The deck and railings were agreed to be all composite and PVC and they did great with the deck. Arriving home from a trip the porch was completed, last check cashed and dumpster removed I saw the porch was done and the six main posts were wood, not pvc, and still had shrink wrap on them with manufacturer instructions on each saying these posts just have primer, they need to be painted in the next 30 days to keep the warranty. Also, in my driveway was a flatbed large pallet that the materials for the deck was delivered on with scraps and garbage on it that was left behind. Large enough that bulk trash would not pick up. When I called Rich about the posts, said a I kind of expected they would have been PVC, like the rest of the job he said those aren’t readily available and would have had to have been ordered and wasn’t specified in the contract. Ok, I’ll take that, every other piece of material in this job was composite or PVC and every new porch on the houses we’re looking at around me are pvc, but yeah, the main posts on the porch we’ll go with wood, primed and shrink wrapped and call the job completed. I asked if someone is going to come paint these posts that the instructions behind the shrinkwrap clearly say is required and Rich says, well we’re not painters and brings up the contract again but says he’ll make it right, might cost a few hundred more. I said whatever man, just finish the job and get your garbage out of my driveway. 5 weeks later, I guess I subcontracted myself to be a finisher on my porch, 1 hr and $50 in paint, and garbage hauler to the dump. Short conclusion, Rich always took my calls or returned them. Just seemed like every time we spoke it was the first discussing the issues and a lot of talk on fixing the remaining issues and zero action. I mean if your crew leaves crap in someone’s driveway after a job and you get a call about it, you go out yourself to get it gone. Not wait for 3 calls and still blow it off after a month. A Bush League way to close out what otherwise would have been a fine job."

"Excellent.  Kevin and Nick called ahead and arrived on time; they completely fixed the damage to the front gutter and replaced a section as well, they also realign the section in back of the house to allow for a better flow of rain water to reduce/prevent overflow.  Their services were cost effective and we will use them in the future as well as recommend them to friends/family.
