"I wish all the contractors on this basement project were as good to deal with as Family Waterproofing. Throughout the whole process, communication was good. Ken the owner was responsive and patient in answering all my questions and addressing concerns. They prepared a detailed contract of all work to be performed, and did what they said they would. I like that they did an exploratory dig after signing the contract to make sure we had a solid plan and avoid any surprises during installation. There was an area under the basement stairs and an old cistern that required a creative solution. They came up with a solid plan that didn't add extra cost. I asked them to pour some extra concrete under the stairs which wasn't included in the contract, which they did for a good price. The crew was friendly and had a good natured camaraderie on the job. The overall cost was very fair and we received great service and quality. They are honest, care about their customers and want you to be happy. Now I'm looking forward to a big rain!"

"Steve arrived promptly to change out a faucet and to assess a shower head that was too high for us to safely reach. Steve replaced our laundry room faucet efficiently and solidly. Such a relief to have one that works properly. Steve recommended an alternate fix to our high-reach shower head. He will look through the hardware options and see what Graham can provide. At least, we know the direction to pursue."

"Redbird Plumbing installed the wrong type of battery on my sump pump back-up system. The alarm continued to sound every 24 hours. After multiple visits, Chris could not diagnose the problem. I had to call another plumbing company who diagnosed the problem and installed the correct battery for my system, hence silencing the alarm. Chris refuses to provide a refund and has refused multiple requests for a refund, including one sent by certified mail. I reported him to the Town of Normal, and when they investigated, he told them he had tried to "settle up" with me which is a lie (see above). I filed a complaint with both the Better Business Bureau and the Illinois Attorney General, and he refuses to admit responsibility for his error."

"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."
