"I have used Middelton Construction before for painting walls, repairing a shower that leaked and repairing woodwork the cat scratched.  He has always done an excellent job and he is completely honest.  I have left him alone all day in my house when I was working and he was painting.  He is completely trustworthy.
My house has been sold and the inspector found a variety of odd jobs that needed fixing for the new owner.  I didn't want several different people each fixing one item.  Every service call generally starts with a service fee for coming out to the house.  I wanted one person to do everything!
Bob fixed the shower faucet, re-attached the soffit at the front of the house, replaced a torn piece of linoleum by the garage door and fixed a drip under the bathroom sink.  He got everything done in just one day and cleaned up before he left.  I felt his charges were fair and reasonable.

"Sal was recommended to us by a friend that found him here on Angie's List. We had him completely gut our bathroom to the studs. Overall he did a great job. Everything was undated that needed to be including plumbing, exhaust fan, mold resistant wet area dry wall etc. The shower he built turned out perfect and we get compliments from everyone thats sees it. At first we thought his price was a little high, but we are so glad we went with him. You actually do get what you pay for. I gave him a "B" under responsiveness only because we had to wait approx 6 weeks for him to schedule the work. With that said it is a good comfortable feeling to know that he is that busy and in such a high demand. "The crew arrived earlier that agreed and set to work quickly. The crew were friendly, knowledgeable, respectful and efficient. They worked very hard and were very respectful of our home. The job required they work at our house over multiple days and each day the guys cleaned up the work area very thoroughly. I really appreciated that the guys did not rush any aspect of their job but really focused on the quality of their workmanship. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
