Cody was extremely thorough in preparing the house for painting, and in repairing both, some damaged siding we were aware of, and other areas of rot that were more extensive then we knew. There was a lot to finish as the colder weather set in, but it was clear that Cody wanted to do things the right way without cutting corners. We selected a bolder variation on the previous color scheme, and the finished project looks fantastic. Cody was respectful, easy to communicate with, and fair and transparent in his pricing. We plan to work with him again on other projects in our home, including interior painting, and we recommend him and his crew without reservation."

I'm currently looking for some fill in work for this winter. I'm a very capable carpenter/painter. I have full time work Monday through Friday, but have some availability on weekends.

"JR did an excellent siding job on our home in Vermont. His crew was prompt, courteous, and very conscientious. They left our yard clean at the end of every workday. They were meticulous in their workmanship, and even went beyond our expectations. At the end of the job they went over every detail to be sure we were satisfied. We highly recommend them."

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"I contacted Cully because of his ratings on Angie's List as it is very hard to find a reliable contractor in this small town where we own apartments.
Cully immediately got back to me - we discussed what work needed to be done and he had a very professional proposal emailed to me within 24 hours.  The price was right on target for work performed and we are very satisfied with his work.   Initially, we agreed for him to sheet-rock 2 ceilings but found that he was so knowledgable and handy so we also had him put up paneling.
We did not have him paint the interior as we did that ourselves (he did paint the ceilings when completed).  Come spring time, I will hire him again to do some exterior painting.  He is my first "go-to" now when we need repairs, painting, or sheet-rocking done.  He cleaned up each time he finished working, making it look better than it had before he started.  
Cully was always on time and in communication with me either by phone or email so I knew where the project stood at all times.  He even suggested an electrician and was there to let him in and explain what we wanted done when we had to upgrade our smoke detectors.
I would highly recommend Cully, he went above and beyond what was asked of him.

"We are extremely delighted and completely satisfied with our new roof and the workmanship provided by J & L.  Starting with John who was knowledgeable and helpful during the estimate process.  He answered all of our questions and put us at ease about such an expensive undertaking.  His product offering was excellent with high quality shingles and warranty.  We had four estimates provided as comparison.  One was far more expensive and the others were similar, but we feel we got the best in workmanship and that's what counts.  He and his crew showed up on time every day and put in a hard day's work.  They work as a team and there is no goofing off.  The crew was polite and answered any of our concerns as the work progressed. When they began tearing off the roof they found the reason there had been leaks from the shoddy job done by the original roofer and corrected everything. Because we had this done in early June they had to work between the rain drops. We were never left exposed as they covered all their work carefully and we had no issues.  Each night they cleaned up and disposed of all waste and swept our large driveway area and ensured there were no nails or sharp objects to protect not only us but our dog. Just before the roofing was started we had the house painted and they took pains not to cause any damage to the walls by covering the area where they were working.Because we have a flat area near the entrance, they put in standing seam metal roofing to aid with ice dams,etc. They worked this in beautifully with the shingles and it just flows evenly to the viewer. John's company offers many other home improvement services.We would definitely hire him again.
