Hard Wood Flooring Install
"Booked a 1st floor, approx. 800 sq./ft. hardwood install with Amerizil about a month out as we wanted to coordinate with a painting project. Katelyn is accommodating and very knowledgeable. Our flooring install was 3/4 inch Brazilian Acacia, which is a very hard wood with lots of contrast. The crew powered through and installed the entire project in one day, mixing and matching pieces to ensure a fantastic final product. Had a defect in the grain in one of the threshold pieces and they were out the next day to fix. Overall I couldn't be happier and would recommend them to anyone."

"We had a "Jetted Tub" removed and a Walk-in Shower, Linen Closet, Flour, Medicine Cabinet, and Vanity Top installed. We found the products offered by Focal Point (Bath Planet) to be of a higher quality than that proposed by competitors. All the Focal People that we worked with (Tim, Zeb, Chad, and Ray) were knowledgable, attentive, punctual, and caring. Chad was an EXCELLENT lead installed; we were so accustomed to his presence that we felt like one of the kids was leaving home when our project was over. We are glad we picked Focal Point Remodeling for our Bathroom Remodel"

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
