"I can not speak highly enough of Alex, Dimitry, and David. They are artists who do an amazing job and charge a very fair price. We have a 1754 house, so nothing is simple. We asked them to refinish the flooring that we had in the great room. I have just completed renovating and wanted to have the 1950's floors refinished. Maybe someday we will put period flooring in, but for now, we just wanted the floor that we have to match the renovation. They blew us away with their quality and attention to detail. Alex was very patient with us and explained the whole process. In three days, our floor went from beat-up to beautiful. We were so impressed with their work, that we had them restore the historical plank floors that we have upstairs in our hallway and in one bedroom. They far exceeded what they did downstairs. I told Alex, my only regret is that we could not take the upstairs floors and bring them downstairs. We will be hiring them for all of our future flooring work."

"I would have put 4 stars because, although the floors were done beautifully, there was some lousy communication during the process. The crew was supposed to be completely done by Thursday, so I started going about my day in the house on Friday and was unpleasantly surprised to see them show up to "finish". They also left a giant pile of trash on my lawn after completing the job (not just sawdust which I expected, but a pile of carpet padding which was not from my house). It was difficult to get in touch with anyone to get answers for a few days over the weekend. The reason I'm giving 5 stars is that, when I finally did get a response, I talked directly with Marteen the CEO, who was very apologetic about the trash and lack of communication regarding the crew's need for an extended timeline, and came by to remove the trash himself. He checked in afterwards to make sure I felt better about the whole experience. The crew actually did an amazing job on the floors and they look brand new, I just wish their mindfulness and communication during the job was a bit better. So what would have been 4 stars is definitely 5, and Marteen's effort is the reason. I've been recommending TLC since. If you want your hardwood floors to look amazing without paying through the roof, TLC is the place to go."

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"I only wish we knew of AGW and had gone with them first for refinishing our hardwood floors. We recently moved into a new home and wanted to have our floors refinished prior to moving in. Unfortunately, we initially ended up going with a contractor who took 2 weeks to complete the project, only to ruin the floors â the sanding was done incorrectly, there were rough edges everywhere, there were marks left from the sanding, the finish was patchy, the color was not consistent, there were bubbles left from using dirty materials, and I can keep going on and on. We only had a week left before our movers would be delivering all our furniture to the new home. We decided we had to get someone else to come out and look at the floors and see if they could be fixed. We did a google search and found the highly rated AGW in Guilford. We made a call to them and instantly felt at ease by Armand. He came over that day with his foreman to assess the situation and to provide a recommendation. They said they could fix everything, put us at complete ease, and said they could start the work the next day and complete the project in 6 days. They knew exactly what needed to be corrected. Theyâ re estimate was right on point with other estimates we had received. They were super responsive, on time, they got the job done as they said, and we couldnâ t have been happier with the end result. Armand and his team do fantastic work and we are so impressed with the outcome of our floors; they look amazing now. Choosing to go with AGW was the best decision we could have made.
