Unlimited Removal and Demolition - to drain, cut up, & remove old oil tank; abate asbestos from, and remove, old boiler; remove oil filler pipes & patch foundation with cement 2. Boxford Chimney Sweep - to run a new flue liner and install a new stainless steel chimney cap We hired J.Griffin Heating & Plumbing to disconnect an ancient "snowman-style" oil-fueled steam boiler with attached "instant" water heater, and replace it with a gas boiler & free-standing gas water heater. Fast. Efficient. Clean. Pleasant & willing to answer all of our questions. All 3 companies provided very high quality experiences! I would hire any/all of them again. He was very responsive via email as we worked to schedule a time for his crew to come do the work, which was mainly water tank and heating system maintenance. Brian brought Jim promptly and explained the work. They then pointed out a couple of things that they recommended replacing, one they just included in the original cost estimate and another they added on due to additional parts being purchased. "I called Viscarello Plumbing and Heating when I had a leaking water heater. Chris looked at the job and recommended a very efficient tankless water heater. I decided to make the investment. Chris and crew installed my tankless. Now, showers never run cold-hot water on demand. I use less water- warms water up so much quicker in my 110y/o house. In July, with tankless system running sinks, shower and washer, my gas bill was $20! I also really like the way the tankless was mounted on the wall. We gained more space without the old water heater in the way. Best of all- nice neat work, no leaks and no mess. Since then, Viscarello Plumbing has plumbed my new kitchen, laundry room, replaced old pipes and replaced radiator valves. Rates are average-but work is above average."
