"TV came to my home the same day I submitted my request for a driveway replacement on Angi’s. He listened to my ideas and offered suggestions to make improvements. I was in contact with other contractors at the time. One gave me a rough estimate over the phone that did not include several of the things TV and I discussed but could not have an estimator on site for 2 weeks. Another could not give me a date when an estimator would be available. I chose to go with ATA Contracting because of TV’s quick response, his ideas, and because I wanted to get on a project schedule sooner rather than later. The lead time to start my project was 3 weeks depending on weather. My driveway was completed in 5 days. This was not a small undertaking. My driveway is approximately 215’ long and 10-24’ wide. TV and his crew took the time to answer my questions and explain the process as they went. It was a pleasure to watch them work. In addition to my driveway, TV and his crew also: 1) Routed and rerouted downspout output underground. 2) Replaced rough rock stairway with concrete stairs. 3) Replaced section of sidewalk. 4) Placed conduits under the driveway and sidewalk for future use. 5) Cleaned and sealed front porch. "The job went excellent. Shay repaired about 100 lineal feet of fencing that had blown down. He placed new posts in new concrete. Did all new framing and even got me a great deal on the fence boards from a local supplier rather than paying over double at the big box stores. He really cares about doing a great job and is meticulous and makes sure everything is done right instead of trying to rush through it. I woukd absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for work done around their home or property. I'll be hiring him to rebuild my deck this spring as well!"

The one challenge with Class Act Carpentry is that the firm is busy.  The brothers were committed to a project out of Seattle when I purchased the deal.  So it took a few weeks until they could come to do the work.

And, I can see why they are in demand.  They took care of quite a list of concerns during the contracted time including:  assessing the issues; purchasing the materials; installing a kick guard on my back door and repairing damage to the door frame; replacing some rotting and missing lumber on my front fence; assessing my car port for structural decay; and planing the exterior basement door so it no longer sticks to the top step; as well as explaining and consulting with me on the projects.  They took care of the issues with dispatch and friendly professionalism.

The prepay amount was $280 for four hours of carpentry work.  The final amount was $308.88 to cover the tax for the service as well as materials.  It was money well spent.

"I am very satisfied with the job that was done. The estimate was the best of the five different companies I called. From the moment I called to make an appointment to the installation everything went smooth. I scheduled an estimate at the time when the company was changing the management. I was notified of that before the appointment. John, salesperson was very courteous, on time, explained everything about the project in great detail. The installation crew with Fernando was very professional , easy to work with. Initial, they brought the wrong time color of stone.
