"Ray is a pro. Itâ s apparent he has a lot of experience with natural stone surfaces. He took a dull, scratched black marble floor and made it look better than the day it was installed. Having it polished was a much better alternative than replacing the floor, but only because it was done right."

"Everything about this vendor's operation was professional. Once we agreed to go with Morningstar, they were very responsive to all our requests and needs. Quick turn-around from template to installation. Same craftsman does the template and supervises the installation. If you intend to spend the money on granite, then you want this kind of expertise and professional attention. By-the-way, they can do a leather finish on any stone counter. Other venders could not offer this. <br />"

"It was pretty good. They were fast and efficient. It went fine. I don't know what my expectations were but I think that, perhaps the fact that we weren't choosing high end, high-priced items may have made him a little bit less patient with our request for details. It was good that the timeframes moved right on and they were very efficient, and the people that came to our house were very nice and very professional. They did their job and cleaned up well and left things in good shape. Their workers were very good. It is just that, on a couple of phone calls, the guy that I talked to at the office was a little grumpy. The impression I got was that it was because I wasn't buying the high-priced items, big items. The people who came to the house were nice as could be."

"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"
