"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

"Had an emergency clog that flooded basement bathroom. Perry came over and we thought he was awesome. He seemed very kind & was happy to help. Got rid of the clog and even fixed our garbage disposal. Forked out a little over $380 but didn’t care because I was relieved things were fixed. Unfortunately Perry didn’t connect the hose back up to our washing machine so when we ran it, our basement flooded even worse. Contacted Perry to see if he had anything to at least help suck the water up and asked if PlumbCrazy covered this sort of thing. He replied and he said “For all I know you moved to clean and left it off.” I promise you we didn’t move anything yet. It definitely wasn’t intentional that it was left off. However, I am very frustrated that something like this can happen and he doesn’t want to take any responsibility for it. Our carpet, my speakers and a few other items were soaked from this incident and now I’m over here wishing I didn’t choose to do business with this company. I hope in the future Perry double checks that he hooked everything back up so no one is left on the situation we are."

"Blue Dot installed a new air conditioner unit and furnace in 2023. Super expensive but good quick service at the time. Came next day. Guaranteed us 10 years parts and labor. Fast forward to today , after a few visits from blue dot to assess why water is under our furnace it was determined a poor install occurred and they need ti repair a pipe. Says warranty for that part was just a year. Quoted us $1000. We objected. Now quoting us $440. All for something they installed incorrectly and charged us 16k for in 2023. Not sure why they won?t stand behind their work. This by the way is after we waited weeks for them to order a part that now turns out isn?t even the problem. We?ve used them since 2002. Not anymore. Avoid this company."
