"We hired MPP to paint our newly constructed porch. Rafael was responsive to my initial request and I thought the price was very fair after getting 3-4 other quotes. The crew came as scheduled and did an amazing job. I was nervous about the paint job since it is a brand new porch, but MPP exceeded expectations. In fact, they did such a good job that we had them back to scrape and plaster over some popcorn ceiling in our living room. Not surprisingly, they did a great job with that too. "Ellen was wonderful. As a new and first time homeowner I was overwhelmed with what colors to choose for multiple rooms in our house. Ellen met with me to go over options and made suggestions that she thought would work in the rooms, she then provided me with real paint samples, where I could see what the paint actually looked like instead of just the little tiny swatch you get at the store. They were large adhesive pieces that I could hang up, move around and really decided what worked best. She also suggested the color of my daughter's nursery and it is by far my favorite room in the house. We also needed wallpaper removed in two different rooms, and this was done beautifully. During the whole process we were also moving our furniture in, which was not easy but Ellen and her team handled the craziness wonderfully. We had a living room, den, dining room, 4 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom painted, wallpaper removed in 2 rooms, 4 closets, doors, and trim all painted and the work was done in a week! I was incredibly happy with the work Ellen and her team did and will definitely hire her again when we need a few more rooms completed."

"I purchased a deal on Angie's list for $199 wallpaper removal in a half bath that included wallpaper on the ceiling. The fine printed stated that it would be 8 hours (1 person) or 4 hours (2 persons). Setting up the appointment was easy (although I think there was a little communication failure in the beginning). Antoniel showed up with his son on time, were completely professional, courteous, and even asked me if I wanted him to start on another room because he had 40 minutes left on the clock. Antoniel and his son are extremely hardworking and tidied up afterwards so there was little cleanup on my part. After they removed the wallpaper in the half bath and there was 40 minutes remaining on the clock, I realized that there was no way he could sand and prime in the remaining time, so I asked him to give me an estimate on how much it would take to complete that half bath so that it would be ready to paint. He gave me a fair price (i think) and came back the next day to skim coat, and a couple days later to sand and prime the wall. He even waited for me to inspect the sanding section before priming the wall. I think this was incredibly important as I found areas that needed additional skim coating/sanding. He was incredibly patient with me and assured me that it would be fine and it was. Antoniel and his son did such a great job that I would definitely consider hiring them again for other jobs."
