"Vincent came out in a blizzard on a Sunday to help me with my hot water heater. They diagnosed and repaired the problem in a couple of hours and did not overcharge. I will definitely try to use them for all my projects going forward."

"They did a spectacular job considering what they had to work with when they started. The roof is exceptional. I don't have any leaks and I don't have roof shingles blowing off in my yard or the neighbors' yard; it is wonderful. The thing that I was most impressed was that they cleaned up after they were done. These guys went out and made sure that the nails were up and everything. I was just very pleased. I have recommended them to a friend. The price included the tear off of the old roof. At some places there were three to four layers of roofing shingles thick and there was a layer of wood shakes. People had just gone over and over it. I was way beyond the village code, but I bought the house like that. It leaked and I tarred it until I got enough money to get the roof done. They also insulated over the porch for me. They did the garage roof as well. I absolutely had no complaints. I had a lot of people into my house to do work. This was the first group of people that I have had here that did what they promised and cleaned up their mess. I had no problems and no need to call them back. I got prices from several other people. They weren't the cheapest, but they were right down there. It was a fair price. They had it done when they said they would have it done."

"The most honest guy in the industry. Upstairs shower was leaking into downstairs kitchen. Plumber advised it was a grout issue. Found Rob on Angies List. He cam over and took one look at my shower floor and said its in perfect shape. He spent the next hour trouble shooting the issue before discovering it was a leaky valve behind the shower faceplate (Plumbing issue). During this process Rob took the time to explain in great detail what he was doing and gave me an invaluable education on my shower unit. I insisted on paying him for his time but Rob refused. Incredible guy. He's going right to the front of my Rolodex just behind my wife. Thanks Rob/Dynamic Kitchens & Baths. There are some great ones left in this industry."

"Received several estimates on power washing but was hesitant with hiring just anyone due to the fact of putting our home on the market. Aldenpainting was very knowledgeable and professional, hired him on site."

"I needed it done in a rush. I didn't think there was enough time for them to get it done, but they finished it faster than I needed. They went way above my expectations. Nice to see some businesses still care about customers."

"He took the blocks out and reused them to straighten the walls. He raised the roof. He spent 2 weeks doing that. I liked the way that he had a union mason with him that was very knowledgeable. He knew how to interact with the customer, me. He was very polite. The whole crew seemed very professional. The only drawback I had was that he started a little late but he was coming form 50 miles away so I had to give him a little leeway there. He was recommended by a neighbor. I am happy with him. His crew spent almost a full day cleaning up afterwards. I also liked that he spoke English which I can understand. His price was competitive. I looked at other people but he gave me a really good deal. It looks like he did really quality work."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in North-granville, NY

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
