"Our initial contact (Jon Long) came to estimate the job. He was quite knowledgeable and gave us some very helpful insights about the design. Since this was our first wooden privacy fence installation, Jon was also very patient as we needed a little extra time to make some adjustments to the fence plan. We had to review, discuss, and resolve any matters with our neighbors and The Woodlands Township in order to get approval to proceed. Once we received the green light, Lester Perkins then coordinated the actual construction/installation for our project He was courteous, professional, and always available for consultation, too. The day of our fence construction was led by Aurelio who was very competent and friendly. Our work was completed in one day - just as promised. In addition to installing a high quality and great looking new western cedar fence, we were most impressed with the focus on customer service which Texas Fence provided along the way during our job. The installation of one of the new fence posts closest to our house accidentally caused a water sprinkler line to be damaged. However, Texas Fence (true to their contract) coordinated this repair quickly and all is well! We highly suggest that you contact Texas Fence to provide an estimate for your next new fence, too! We received three estimates but opted not to take the cheapest estimate. The reason? We were really impressed with the looks of another Texas Fence installation performed in our area and became confident that they would do us a great job, too! They absolutely did. Win/win!"

"It is difficult to get fence contractors to do small jobs like replace the side gate. No job is too small for Brian. He is busy but he makes the time to come out & meet you if the timing works but if not he will just prepare the quote. I appreciate how open , honest & friendly Brian was in our discussions. I chose Brian over other quotes though his was not the cheapest because of his personality. Kindness. He helped me replace a picket in the back fence and nail down some gaps cheerfully. Brian & Regis have great work ethics and they finish the job quickly. They took just 2 mornings finishing up before noon and clearing up. Another neighbor came by to make inquires and I hope Brian got the job. I will recommend Brian to my friends and I will work with him again if I need to replace the back fence."

"Recently used Tim's Fences to design and install our driveway gate. They were prompt with response for quote, visited the property and walked me through the options (others just visited and took down measurements), responsive through the design changes, and explained the structural, specification and engineering design and requirements. Installation was on time and schedule and crew was very professional. I have already referred a friend to them and will continue to do so."

The repairs needed were very basic. I was put off by the fact that they repeatedly tried to sell me a new fence."

"He misrepresented himself as part of the Ochoa Roofing and more, which he is not. He got the fencing done in a timely manner but charged more after he was finished due to under estimation. My husband hired him but when I went to look at finished gate I noticed it wasn't even when the gate closed. Tight as it should be on the top but as it goes down to the bottom the gap for larger. We did not call back to repair."

"The initial visit and estimate went well. The price was fair and in line with an estimate we obtained from another company. Actually scheduling the work was frustrating because they kept changing the day with no prior notice. Since we needed to be home to give them access to the roof through our attic, this meant juggling our own work schedules. When the tech finally came out, he was not aware that he was supposed to install the clips. My husband had to show him the paperwork, and luckily the tech had some clips with him so he could proceed. It is not clear to us if the tech did both the front and back gutters, as specified in our contract, but we will give him benefit of the doubt. Given the previous positive reviews this company has on Angies list, perhaps our experience reflects post Harvey challenges."
