"My project was to add a porch to the front of my antique house. I quoted the job out to 3 builders and found the prices all to be similar. Although Fiske Construction was very slightly higher I was impressed with the professionalism of the quote and Mike�s understanding of what I was looking for. I showed him a couple of pictures of the style I wanted and he immediately picked up the details that gave the look I wanted. Mike arranged for the permits and began work as soon as they were set. Mike�s work ethic is far better than many these days, he showed up early and worked hard all day, every day. I never felt that my job wasn�t his top priority. I added a couple of features during the construction , Mike gave me a very fair price on the additional work and arranged for the materials required. Mike is more than just a builder, he is a Craftsman. The fit, finish, and quality of the porch is top notch. I have had neighbors and strangers compliment me on what a beautiful porch and how it looks like it has always been there. It�s not an easy task to add to a house built in the early 1800�s and match the quality of workmanship and style for that period but Mike and his team nailed it, I could not be happier or ask for a single change for the entire project. If I need any building projects in the future I will definitely have Fiske Contruction do the work. These days with some pretty questionable contractors out there Mike Fiske is a shining star and a safe bet for any project you may be"

"Worst experience working with a contractor we have ever had. Lack of communication was astounding. Reached out to start the project on our tiny front lawn in June/July. Didn't start planting until mid October. Was told there were 5 jobs in front of ours. Ignored photos of exactly what we wanted. Finish product is passable at best. Would not recommend."

Jose was attentive to our wishes and made some insightful suggestions that we absolutely agreed with. His team came the very next day to remove the grass that had died during our exterior remodel. They thoroughly prepared the yard and took care not to disturb our existing plants. They approached the work thoughtfully and carefully. They then came back and did a masterful job of installing sod, cobblestone edging, and gravel installation into our planter beds. The yard looks amazing and we were thrilled with their work. "In 2021, I hired Eric to fix a water leak in my basement. I paid approximately $8000. Three months after the work was done, there was leaking again. He came over and told me that this was a different leak. After I saved up enough money, I was referred to an expert in basement leaks/foundations. He came over and completed the work. When he was doing the work, he proactively asked me who did the work previously. He said he was clearly not done by someone with knowledge of foundations. I have tried to resolve with Eric. At a minimum, I deserve a refund"

"I hired Long Roofing Products to replace my roof. From the beginning the sales man lied to me, telling me that they could take off my Gutter Helmets and put them back on correctly. This was lie #1. They have null and voided the warranty of my gutter helmets, because they were not supposed to touch them and according to Gutter Helmets all the roofers know this. lie #2 there were missing pieces on the ends of my gutter helmets to prevent the birds from getting into the gutters. The salesman told me they would order the piece from Gutter Helmets and replace it. This was never done. I have contacted them several times and they continue to tell me they will fix it and they never do. I would NEVER recommend them, I would only tell you NOT to use them. They talk a big game but never follow thru with their promise's."
