They arrived precisely on time.  They were very polite and willingly did everything that we asked.  We had some containers so that the oil remaining in the tank could be reclaimed and we requested them to fill these containers.  I watched them work and they were very pleasant  and did not mind my observing.  They asked me if I wanted to keep any of the parts that they removed.  All the work was done efficiently and carefully.   They  left the work area very neat and clean when they finished.  The area at the front of the house where the fill and vent pipes  was completely  and neatly covered without any disruption of the landscaping.  We were very happy with the way the job was completed.

As you can imagine, the removal of Invasive Bamboo is not an easy task and most landscapers/contractors (I had 3 refuse to do the work) would not touch it, or provide an astronomical quote preventing any possibility to proceed. "We hired Backyard Experts for a retaining wall replacement and I was pretty happy with the overall outcome until I noticed an issue with the grade/slope of the wall. When I brought it to Ronnie's attention he didn't hesitate to acknowledge the issue and immediately told me he would address it. Within a couple of weeks he had another crew out to the house and they didn't do any half measures. They demo'd and re-built the wall. Excellent, responsive customer service after the sale. I plan on contacting Ronnie again for future hardscaping needs."

"Steve is very efficient and careful of the owner's property (and in my case, an escape-artist cat).  He hauled away the landscape debris first, then returned for the junk in a second load.  Altogether it was a 4 1/2 hour job for him.  His final fee was a good deal less than what he had originally quoted me.  A nice and appreciated surprise."

"Scott did a fabulous job and we are very happy with our walkway.  From the beginning he was very professional.  He responded to our request on Angie's list very promptly, came out within a couple of days to give us an estimate, and told us he would call us at the end of July, which he did.  He stuck with his original estimate, no surprises.  He also corrected problems with the original design by installing tread stones on the edges of the stairs.  It not only looks so much better, but is much more functional and will last longer.  I used to love that all of my flowers covered up my ugly walkway.  Now I don't want my plants hiding the walkway because it looks so good.  It is also secure, and draining properly, whereas the old stones had sunk and collected water.  We would highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for masonry work.  Oh, and I should mention that we got an estimate last summer from someone who never came back to do the work.  He was going to charge us almost as much as Scott, but never picked up on the fact that we were missing tread stones, and his estimate did not include the cost of tread stones.  He was not a true mason like Scott.
