"He was very good.  I had some company coming from out of town and my air conditioning wasn't working.  He came that day to fix it.  He knows what he is doing.  He gets the job done.  He came within 1/2 hour of my phone call because he was in the area.  He got my air conditioner going right away.  It was really hot that day.  He took care of it right away.  He could have tried to tell me it was the compressor or something, but he didn't.  He was prompt, he did a good job, and he was fair.  He installed a furnace and air conditioner at my mother's house as well.  He did a good job there too.  He was here previously to try and quiet down my air conditioning, but nothing seemed to work too well.  He was really good on the installation, but I thought he was a little high on the repair. "

"Tankless water heater went on the fritz last Monday. Submitted HomeAdvisor request for quote and Rob called almost immediately. Took some pictures of the old unit and plumbing and had an all in reasonable estimate. They came out next morning (to the city no less) and installed new unit in a few hours, explained everything and tested and was within estimate. Very knowledgeable and professional. Have great hot water on demand. Wife is very happy as our old Eternal tankless struggled ever since we moved in 3 years ago. Very happy with the recommended Navien and installation from RA."

"After buying a water heater at Menards and getting it home, I called Plumb-it Inc about 1:30 p.m on a Monday. I think it was Scott who answered (no recorder!) and he said he could have 2 guys out to our house within 45 minutes to install it. The job went so smooth. They did arrive within 45 minutes. "We purchased a new home a few months ago, and a lot of things needed to be replaced. On the top of the list for us was the furnace and A/C. We called probably 6-7 different companies to come out and give us estimates, but we were never really thrilled with any of those companies, especially after reading reviews. Skip forward a few weeks, and a check valve on our sump pump went out, so water sprayed all over the closet where the sump pump was kept, on a Saturday. Steve made it out in probably 45 minutes or so, if that, and did a fix. The pump itself was old, and the battery backup was not functional, so I decided to have the whole thing replaced. A few days later, the job was done. I was impressed by Steve, and saw that they did HVAC work, so I decided to have them do an estimate on a new A/C and Furnace. Later the same day, the owner of the company came out and gave us an estimate. There was no pressure whatsoever to make a purchase, the conversation was just matter of fact about what we needed and what we didn't need. We live in a town that technically requires permits to do work like this, but every provider up until TopTec said that we could get away without doing the permits, so why pay the money. TopTec encouraged us to do the permits so we'd have a third party review their work to ensure it was done right for our own peace of mind. This really told me that not only they were confident in their work, but also that what was going to be done would be up to code. I had been toying with getting a new hot water heater based on how old ours was, so we decided to have them do that too. The workers were thoughtful and explained everything in detail. They don't subcontract. If you are looking for the absolute cheapest provider, these guys probably aren't for you. But, if you want the job done right, thoroughly, and with high end products, this guys are the route you want to go. It's so hard to find providers you can trust, but I really feel like they earn the high review scores they got if you do your research. I'll definitely have more work for them in the future."
