Luckily this "other" plumber did not charge us. Once we purchased a new faucet, I got this big deal to have it installed. The faucet was likely original to our 24 year old home. The plumbers could not free the nuts from the faucet & I recommended they just cut it out. The only small issue we had was that they came to our house much later than promised. In their defense they were repairing a major leak in someone's basement & they wanted to clean up before arriving."

"Outstanding, professional crew. Previously did a 5-star basement finishing renovation for us which we reviewed on Angi in March 2021. This time we had wallpaper removal and interior painting done, all excellent. Jim did a kitchen gas stove and fridge repair for us. He repaired and replaced two lights and a room fan for us. Laundry room and second bathroom flooring was replaced and updated. Replaced a gutter downspout. Built two patio access stairs which was a big improvement. Did an outstanding job getting our house ready to show for sale. Well above & beyond all our expectations. Jim & his crew are timely, very reliable, thorough and completely professional."

"It went very well! Rick was extremely helpful. My hot water tank stopped working on New Year's day in the evening. I was not able to find anyone to help me, especially considering it was a holiday. I submitted a request on HomeAdvisor.com that night. Rick called me first thing the following morning at 7am. I gave him the details of my situation and he was at my house by noon that same day! I was extremely grateful and impressed with the service he provided. He was very knowledgeable, prepared, prompt and sympathetic to my situation. I couldn't have asked for better service and to be honest I doubt I would've found anyone better to do the job. He kept me informed as to the start date, and gave me options regarding the job so that it was affordable for me. He did meticulous work. "Bob came out promptly, provided an estimate, and started the work in about a week. He worked around 4 or 5 hours each day, and the project took 6 working days. He was able to save enough old peach tiles to make an attractive border around the middle of the shower. The tile work is excellent and looks very nice. He cleaned up very well. There were some disturbing aspects, however. He ruined two hand towels in the bathroom by leaning the shower door on them. After he had re-installed the shower door, I noticed it was not on straight and raised concern about it. He attempted to straighten it, but it was not better. He said he would come back if it did not work out, but I did not ask him to come back for the door because I was upset that he had made new holes in the old peach tiles and didn't want him to do any further damage to these tiles which cannot be replaced. He had already broken one of these, and the extra holes cannot be covered up in any way. After he left, the sink next to the shower was clogged up. When I called him about the sink, he said that he wasn't anywhere near the sink and wasn't responsible for it being clogged up. He had only washed his hands in it. I think he should have taken responsibility for the clogged drain and asked his plumbing colleague to unclog it. Instead, I hired a plumber to fix it, which cost me an extra $160.91. When asked why the sink was clogged, the plumber told me it was quite puzzling, as there were pieces of ground cement in it. I then called the shower door company and ended up having to get a new shower door for $368, as they would have charged me $299 to come out and reinstall the old one. While I am now pleased with the finished product, it took two additional companies and an extra $528.91 to complete it."
