"Brian, the representative from the company who came to our home to survey our carpets and give us an estimate, was very punctual and came at the appointed time. He explained every detail of the cleaning process and was quite honest as to what to expect with several stubborn stains we had including two that another company we used (not from Angie?s List) was unable to remove. <br /> Steven, the technician who did the work, arrived exactly at the time promised. He did a great job of cleaning all the areas we had agreed on and even cleaned some areas we did not expect him to reach. He was also very careful not to damage our hardwood floor or furniture. After the work was completed I was amazed that even the stains I did not expect to be totally removed were gone. What I am especially impressed with is the follow up Expert Carpet Care did after the job was done. Brian called me several days later to make sure I was satisfied with the work and to see if any of the bad stains had begun to reappear (as they can do sometimes) which they have not. I highly recommend Expert Carpet Care and plan on referring family and friends to them. <br />"

"The salesman met us in our home on a Sunday within a week of our initial call. He was very professional and showed us a range of options at different price points. However, Costco does not sell "cheaper" carpet, so even the least expensive options were rather "high-end." We got a good deal on a very nice Shaw berber carpet with Stainmaster protection and a very soft upgraded pad, which makes it very comfortable to walk on barefoot. We were told it would be installed in less than 1 week, but it was actually about 2 weeks before installation. A couple calls to Costco's central number were required to follow-up on the situation before we received a return call from the installer. On the day of installation, they arrived earlier than the scheduled time and finished ahead of schedule. They do move furniture, but with some major caveats. We had to hire a piano mover to move our grand piano out of the way -- the installers wouldn't touch that. They also will not move any electronics, and they ask that drawers be removed from furniture (or emptied out if the drawers can't be removed). This wound up being very time-consuming for us. But overall we are very satisfied with the results -- a huge upgrade!"

"I have used New York Carpets several times over the past several years. First when I had my old house they replaced a lot of carpet over the years and then when moving into my new house they installed bedroom carpet before this experienced. <br /> Obviously I keep returning for one reason only. They have very good prices, and do very good work.  <br />  They were prompt when they were scheduled to start work, removed the old carpet, and then installed the new carpet. The living room/dining room is one large room and there must be several seams to to get it completely covered. There work is so professional that you can't see the seams, which were also done as much as possible on the sides. When they did the measurements, they took time to fit the carpet with maximum coverage and minimal waste, reducing the cost further. When they were done, there was so little waste that I wasn't work saving for anything other than a small piece in the event there is a need to repair the carpet in the future. <br /> I would recommend them unequivocally and will use them in the future. <br /> They also have some other tile and simulation wood material. I purchased some of that for my former house as well as carpeting, and again the prices were quite good and work installing it was very professional. <br />"

We were confused when a van from Sunshine Carpet Cleaning arrived at the appointed time but was assured he was with Quality Carpet Cleaning. We were delightfully surprised when he was finished since the carpet was really clean except for a small yellow stain which he said was permanent with is much better than before. Even the walk-off mats Sergio had made from left-over carpet matched the adjoining pattern and were cut to exactly fit into the doorframe.</p> <p>Whenever we had questions or needed to discuss an issue, Jan in the Lomita office was helpful and very quick in responding to our needs.</p> <p>We would absolutely recommend Carpet Spectrum for any flooring project.</p>"
