Although we live in a townhouse, the record-breaking Maryland rainfall and the slant of the front lawn toward our foundation had caused serious water build up at our foundation and threat to overflow into the basement.. For several weeks we had been bailing rainwater round the clock from the trench that had formed at the front of our home and using dozens of paper towel rolls to absorb water. Kyle saw the seriousness of the problem, brought his co-worker Matt who would do the work to help plan their project and scheduled a date. Matt was excellent and very thorough. So far the work they did has solved the problem successfully, and we look forward to their return in the spring for more corrective landscaping. "I contacted Mark's Lawn and Landscape in late March 2018 about installing a paver foundation ( 12 by 16) for a shed. I made an appointment for early morning and Mark was right on time traveling from Halethorpe to Laurel. Note that the four other firms I called said that for such a small job there was no need for a site inspection prior to the work starting. Mark quickly gave me an estimate and a time frame for when he could complete the work. For the rest of the day my thought was that maybe I could find a contractor who might do the work for somewhat less money. About three days later Mark's proposal came and the cost to do the work was exactly what he quoted and I knew then that I would give him the job. When Mark and his crew came to do the work he recommended a different location for the foundation than mine and I was pleased after taking his recommendation. Mark's crew did an excellent job installing a perfectly level foundation in a day's time and grading the area around the foundation. I asked Mark to inspect the job after completion and he said he would certainly do this. Yes, this was a small job but I was so pleased with Mark's attentiveness to my needs and requests."
