No hidden costs and he didn’t try to upsell me any additional parts, like new openers. He gave me a date & time for the installation, showed up on time and installed them. Took him about 3 hours to replace 2 doors. We love the new doors & they look and work great. The last thing he said was to call him with any concerns, even if started squeaking & he would be there to fix it. He is very professional with many years of experience & provided excellent service. Sal DiFilippo of Saugus Overhead Door Co, arrived on time for what I thought was going to be an estimate. He began right away to work on the door, and at all times was courteous. "I would definitely recommend this company for garage door work. Ronen, the man who came to fix it was very precise and exacting in what he wanted for an outcome of the repair. He wanted it done perfectly so that when the garage door opened or closed it was completely aligned, largely silent in its movement, and when it reached the bottom there wasn't a hint of sunlight coming in from the ground. "I called because our garage door would occasionally jam or reverse direction, and it had not been professionally serviced for a decade. When PJ arrived, he immediately pointed out almost broken and stretched springs, cables and pulleys. Definitely needed service! While the replacement parts were not anticipated, they clearly were needed. Even though two service trips were needed (because of parts availability) and two doors needed service, MDI only charged labor for one service call. Everything works so much better now. I no longer cross my fingers every time I push the OPEN button. Excellent work."

"One of the owners stopped by, inspected the door, and we discussed the prices for the things I was interested in getting done. I decided to have just the opener replaced and was given a price of $650. This was a basic replacement job but it seemed to have been done by a new employee that should have been closely supervised. The technician came as scheduled, was very professional and courteous. What upset me was that he didn't clean up after himself, leaving bolts, wires and parts that he had replaced in the garage area where the car was supposed to be parked in, and had forgotten things that were common sense to have available to finish setup."
