He found some rotten wood and siding that needed replaced. He replaced the rotten areas and a few he discovered along the way. They have been responsive in bringing out the huge fans to dry the carpet underneath and returned to make sure there was no moisture left before taking the fans away. They have also cleaned the carpet in a couple of rooms and did very good work.

"I initially contacted Perma-Dry after seeing that I was still getting water in my garage in an area that had been repaired twice by others.  They sent out an estimator within a few days who gave me lots of good advice on several issues that I was having.  I thought that I could not afford the work this year and let him know.  Then, I changed my mind after we had rain for the first time in months.  Perma-Dry honored my quote from May and did the work in 1 day.  They installed drains in my garage and also put some sealant in the spot where the water was coming in.  Perma-Dry was very responsive to many questions that I had, and the guy in charge that day had me look things over and also warned us to give the wet cement 4 days to dry completely.  It has rained several times since the work was done and the problem seems to be solved.  I like also that the work is guaranteed.

We live out of state and they sent us pictures and kept us informed every step of the way. We were considering removing the ugly popcorn ceiling from our 1960's split-level for some time, and we're glad we moved forward with the project. Kelvin Jackson was highly professional and did an excellent job of removing the asbestos while doing little or no damage to the ceiling. The follow-on crew that applied texture and paint was very impressed with the results. Kelvin was an excellent communicator and a joy to work with and the price was extremely competitive too. "The person who did the estimate (but none of the work) was very clear and spent a lot of time answering my questions when he was here and over email later. He also helped me with a problem that came up later (see below). The two men who did the work were punctual, they cleaned up each day, and stuck to the original schedule of work (even though they did more than they expected to do). They worked with me to find solutions to unexpected problems that came up as they broke into the old wall. The finished shower and wall are beautiful, and I know from watching the daily progress that they are solidly and competently built. There were two small problems at the end of the job. One was the new dry wall texture did not match the old wall texture in the bathroom, and after talking to the contractor about that, I decided that I could live with it. The second was a manufacturer's flaw in the new tub that I did not see until a week after the job was completed. When I said something to the contractors, they promptly hired a tub reglazer to fix the problem (at no further cost to me). This was a very professional and highly appreciated response."

"Two young people showed up at my home and worked swiftly and tirelessly. They thoroughly cleaned both bathrooms, one had a Jacuzzi tub. They wiped down all the woodwork and doors (7 in the hallway) and all the baseboards. The tile in my entryway was very dirty but they scrubbed and left it spotless. I have lots of cabinets in my kitchen and they wiped them all down along with all appliances. There are also several pictures hanging in my hall and they wiped down all the frames. They cleaned and vacuumed everything. They were very thorough, worked hard, and quickly. The two people were here for four hours and did a great job. I would have no problem recommending them or using them again."
