"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. Looking forward to see how they last their first winter."

"We were very pleased with how they performed. We bought the doors and windows. We spent a total of $4,000 for the price of the windows and doors including the charge for the installation. They were very professional and very thorough as far as presenting what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. They proceeded to do exactly what they had said. They gave me a time frame of how long they thought it would take and it was very close to that. I could not have been more pleased with how it all went. I only did a portion of my condo and if I do the rest of the condo with additional windows, I would definitely use them again."

"It was wonderful and they did everything. They were efficient, they did a good job and they cleaned up nicely. It was difficult to find anyone to review out of it so I think the price was fair and I felt comfortable with it. It was reasonable. If I would use them again, I would also recommend them."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Oakhurst, CA

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
