"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Service! Troy did an absolutely fantastic job cleaning our carpets! The quality of his work truly exceeded my expectations. He finished faster than I thought he would, especially considering the number of rooms we had, and everything was explained clearly and upfront — no hidden fees, no surprises. Our house feels brand new again! I’m so impressed with the results and the professionalism. If you’re looking for someone reliable, honest, and incredibly thorough, Troy is your guy. Highly recommend!"

"I contacted them because they were highly rated on Angi. My carpets are 28 years old. I have had cleaners come in and tell me just to replace the carpet. This company came in and did an AMAZING job! My carpets look new. Pet stains were removed and the stairs are immaculate, I would recommend them without hesitation. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!"

"Mary and the staff at Cristomar did another wonderful job of cleaning my rugs! I was amazed at how much brighter the wool Persian rug looked and our nylon office rug looked new again. They will pick up and deliver your rugs, repair them if needed, and perform other services to make your rugs their best. I'd use this company again without hesitation."

"This is a replacement review of one I just posted as I left out a member of the P & Q team: I had 3 rooms carpeting in my home and started with Stu who took my first phone call. Stu was very professional and personable which immediately got my attention and arranged for Scott to come out with samples and he fell in love with my Dachsund, JJ. Then, George who is in charge of installation helped me to schedule a time. Then came the day of install and 2 gentlemen of Hispanic origin (to me, Hispanics are great at what they do and Saban and his partner were proof of that) arrived and did a wonderful job. They took great care of moving the furniture and even vacuumed the bare floor after removing the old carpet (I don't recall the previous installer taking that step). These two guys were phenomenal and cleaned up after themselves. So for any flooring needs, P & Q is the company I cannot recommend enough. They made the entire process so easy!"

"Alex and his team did a great job. Quote for doing the work was competitive and they worked with me on pricing regarding an underlayment issue that came up during the installment that needed to be corrected to do the job correctly. The floors looked so good after completing, I’m having them do another area in my home. I highly recommended them."

"Daryl did a great job! We had a 21 year old water heater and desperately needed a new one installed. Daryl assessed what we needed to install and what we needed to update on his initial visit and agreed on pricing. In day of install, he worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. Thanks Daryl! "

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Oakwood, GA

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
