"This company is fabulous!!! I do not have enough words to say how happy we are. I spent 2 years trying to find a landscape company to take on our job. I called at least 4 companies, they would come out to bid the job, some would show up for the appointment others we never heard from. Those who did show up said they would send over the quote. I had to call everyone of them after never receiving the bid, never received any of them. First rule you should never have to call a company for your business, simple just tell me your not interested don’t lie! We live on a acre and recently put in a pool. We had to take out trees and build a 20 ft wall for the pool. It is all down hill. After the pool was completed the rest of the yard was dirt and weeds. Since the house looks down on the yard (which is about half of the lot) it was not pretty. I found Paulino of Romero Landscaping. He showed up for our original appointment! We told him we wanted it to look like a park. We needed it grated,dirt,sprinklers and sod a lot of sod. It was a big job. We had the bid the next day. He was very fair on his price. This was the fall and he said he would start in the spring. We gave him a deposit and took a leap of faith that he was everything we thought because it did seem too good to be true after everything we had been through trying to find someone. He started before he said. He was here with his crew every single day to do all the prep for the sod. He answered his phone every single time we called with any requests. People call me “picky” I like to say particular. Every single time he would say “no problem and we will do exactly what you want” and he did! Paulino’s customer service is like it should be and his crew is amazing. They exceeded all our expectations! This was not an easy job. I cannot believe the before and after. Again I cannot say how happy we are and how beautiful it turned out."

"First I'd like to explain my punctuality rating of this company.  I gave them a D NOT because they were late to do the work when they said they would come. In general, they came when they said they would come. The D resulted in months of waiting for the actual work to begin.  We met with them in May, got a bid from them in July, waited two months and finally got the work completed in late September.  In addition, during the months we were waiting for the work to begin, they were very hard to contact. Phone messages would go unanswered. Emails would be ignored. When we did make contact, I was given several start dates that had to be pushed back by weeks.  I understand that in this business things come up and start dates get delayed, but would have appreciated a more accurate estimate of when the work might actually begin.

HOWEVER, if you are willing to stick with them through this (we were willing because we liked the sod they have developed and liked their reviews on Angies List, AND understood that they were very busy this past summer), they do fantastic work.  The team, overseen by Blake and Jorge, were prompt, courteous, friendly. At the end of every day they cleaned up, not just at the end of the project.  IT took them 3 days to complete the whole project (as described above).  I provided homemade lemonade to the team as they worked with plastic cups and they did not leave one plastic cup lying around when they were finished.  I really appreciated that attention to detail and the amount of pride they showed in their work.  Blake has been very responsive even after the project was finished to come back and correct little details and answer my questions about caring for new sod.  I would definitely hire them again, but with the understanding that the work may not start for several months."

Salt Lake City called notifying us of continuously flowing water and a very sharp increase in our water bill. We needed to shut off the main water line immediately.
