"We recently experienced an amazing, satisfying week with Caron Roofing and Construction. Several leaks in our roof appeared during a month of sometimes heavy rain. I called Justin Caron to come take a look at possible repairs. He came the following day. He recommended total roof replacement, including a rubber membrane covering the nearly flat roof over the two-car garage. Our home was built in 1905 and last re-roofed thirty or forty years ago. It needed replacement, and Justin’s estimate of price was reasonable. Justin made a formal written proposal the next day, and, after discussion, agreement on the work was reached. Necessary materials arrived the following morning, with the roofing work scheduled for the day after. Bang! A little after seven in the morning of the fourth day after my initial call, the work crew arrived, along with every imaginable piece of equipment and tool needed. Netting was placed to protect plants and flowers. Two dumpsters were deployed to collect trash. The 12 person crew worked as a coordinated team, purposely, professionally, and proficiently. By afternoon’s end, the roofing was done. The crew gathered up their equipment, finished removal of all the old roofing, and tidied up the yard. They restored everything to the “as before” condition, except now we had a wonderful new roof. Four days from first call to completed job. Well done!"

"The crew at James & Whitney co were extremely friendly, courteous and went out of their way to make sure that we were happy with our new roof. The job was done fast and is of wonderful quality. Beyond that, this is a company that truly stands behind their work, as they have reached out to me several times in the past few months to ask how the roof is holding up. I truly couldn’t recommend James & Whitney highly enough to anyone who needs work done on their roof."

"Very responsive. I was happy with the pricing. He is very responsive and calls immediately."

"Derek from Boldcoast Exteriors worked patiently with my wife to pick the perfect color roof. Everyone loves it. He was always available to answer questions. Once decided, the work was done quickly and meticulously. We are very happy with this company and plan to use them for future projects."

"Dave at Roof Masters was outstanding and worked in a professional manner throughout the entire process. His three hardworking employees did all of the work in one day. They were polite and worked with speed and great care. On completion the work areas were cleaned up nicely. The shingles and metal roof were carried away the following day. The process went smoothly and with no problems. The roof looks great and has a ten year warranty."

"We can't recommend Doug Moores strongly enough. He has experience, expertise, professionalism, and honesty. Doug listens to your questions with unwavering attention, as if yours is the most important job and most important question he will hear that day. He plans out the best course for the work while never breaking concentration with you, and then he makes suggestions that exceed your vision. Most recently, we called Doug to make an access door to our attic, where an animal had moved in. His work is meticulous, his cuts are seamless, his framing exact, and when the job is done, he cleans up and leaves no trace behind. He also found where the animal had gained access and he took care of that, too. He made the whole project seem easy and painless. Doug has helped us with upgrades, repairs and maintenance of our home for years and he is equally adept at jobs large and small, whether carpentry, electrical or fixing and resealing the bulkhead, or installing lights and fans, Doug's skills are superlative, common sense, and always, always, more than fairly priced. We are so grateful we have Doug on speed dial!"

"We own the Lamb and Lion Inn in Barnstable on Cape Cod. Our inn has high
marks all around from the guests, however our personal space was
another story! Our kitchen overlooks the courtyard, pool & hot tub,
and it's a lot of fun, but a linoleum & Formica meca! YIKES! We
decided this winter it was time to take care of the innkeepers so a new
kitchen was in order. However, there is no such thing as a millionaire
B&B owner, so our budget was a huge issue. Lee and his wife Meoghan
came to the inn and from that moment on it was a pleasure doing
business with Benchmark. They are easy to work with, have great vision
and really understand what a tight budget is. Rather than getting
whacked with huge construction costs we were shown how we could simply
re-face the existing ugliness, change what needed changing and simply
hide what could be hidden. Lee came up with fantastic space saving ideas
and he even saved our 2 kitchen islands, giving them a facelift instead
of replacing them. At the end of it all, Lee and his caring &
careful team left us with a kitchen we LOVE, and for much less money
than we had originally imagined. We have much more storage space, and he
even through in glass door cabinet with a motion night light (a great
calling card--every time the light goes on we think of Lee--was this
done on purpose? Hmmm...)
On a more personal note we truly
appreciated Lee's easy going personality, great sense of humor and
communication skills. When he & his team were caught at another job
that ran a week late he called us right away and kept us posted as to
his timing during the small delay, which ended up to be shorter that
expected.
On Cape Cod we have a huge problem with workers showing
up late, or not at all, and not hearing from them. It's torturous!
Benchmark's professionalism made working with them something we would
gladly do again in the future, if another project comes along. If anyone
needs anymore praise than that to help them make up their minds please
call us at the Lamb and Lion Inn!"

"Tar Star was a really great choice for us. They were so responsive to our needs in terms of timing, style and communications. Anthony kept us fully informed on price, issues that arose during the job and all aspects of the job. Finally they cleaned up our yard after a full roof replacement so much that there was not a single nail, shingle or debris of any kind. Unbelievable! I would strongly recommend Tar Star to anyone."

"We needed to have Leak Seekers demo 2 chimneys to below the roof line and then repair the roof where the chimneys had been. Also to remove a cast iron vent pipe and patch that hole. Second job was to repair some badly damaged fascia (squirrel holes) and to rebuild 2 rotted trim returns. We had to delay the job until some squirrels could be removed from the attic, and Jerry was flexible about adjusting the start date. The work done was all excellent. Roof was patched so well I can't really see where the chimneys used to be. I was impressed by the quality of the carpentery work that was completed as well, on the fascia and trim returns."
