"My 12 year old refrigerator was not maintaining temperatures in the freezer and fridge. I requested 3 quotes through Angie’s List and got a call from Jerel of JL Appliance within 5 minutes. He came the next morning, which was a Sunday, and determined we needed a new compressor. He ordered the part but told us it would take 3 weeks for the part to come in. True to his word, the part arrived 3 weeks later and Jerel came to install it the day before Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, the temperature did not reduce after 12 hours, so I texted Jerel on Thanksgiving morning and he responded immediately wanting to know what time he could come by! Although the compressor was working it looked like the computer board had gone bad. He drove 30 minutes north to pick up a board, came back and installed it...all on a holiday. He said to give the fridge 24 hours to normalize. Next morning the temp was still high. I texted Jerel and again he responded immediately... came back, made some adjustments and hung out in his car for an hour to make sure it was fixed. Third time was the charm. If you want someone who is highly dependable, dedicated, personable and reasonable, I highly recommend Jerel Lai for your appliance repairs."
