"We had some bad luck recently with our home that has 2 air conditioner units. They both needed replacing just 1 1/2 months apart. After researching, we selected AM Aire as we found Andrew to be the most honest AC Technician!! He replaced our first unit and even though we had to wait for a part for 5 days in Florida heat for Andrew to replace our 2nd unit , we selected him again even though another company could have installed a new one sooner. Definitely worth the wait, Andrew is professional, extremely knowledgeable, and most impressively HONEST!!!! Had another company out for a consult who tried to upsell unnecessary items that did not need repair! We will definitely be using AM Aire for ANY air conditioner issues. "ARS installed our Carrier mini split system 4 years ago, and it?s been nothing but scare tactics and upselling since. First it was the board, then the compressor, then they said we should just replace the entire system they installed. At one point, they told us a wire had burned up ? then the system magically worked 2 days later. Fed up, we hired a licensed third-party company. They replaced both OEM boards, fixed the communication issue, and confirmed the compressor was bad but under warranty. Later that SAME DAY, ARS came out and quoted us $2,289 (discounted to $1,831) ? including a brand-new inverter board that had just been replaced HOURS earlier. We paid $1,700 total elsewhere for boards, compressor, labor, and actual honesty. If lying about a brand new part doesn?t prove how shady they are, I don?t know what does. Get a second opinion. Don?t get taken advantage of."
