"We had purchased a deal to have some work done. We scheduled an appointment to go ahead and get an estimate for the work we wanted done. We ended up having to cancel the first time due to some personal matters. When we called the provider to reschedule he said the next 2 weeks was completely booked up due to the big deals other people were purchasing. We ended up having to reschedule a total of 3 times, once because of our issue and twice because of issues with the provider and trying to get out to the house. When he came to the house to give us an estimate for the work, he said it was going to be another $450.00 in addition to the $79 we paid for the big deal. This was way more then we wanted to spend. We tried to negotiate other work that we had wanted done, such as the beams on our patio. He said he would be able to do that for the $79. He told us to get a specific paint to paint the patio beams, so we went out and got it. When someone finally showed up on August 15th to start the work, they told us we had bought the wrong paint. Due to our frustration we cancelled and didn't have him do any work and contacted Angie's List to get a refund on our deal."

"About 2 yrs ago I used Community Builders to put in all new windows in my house. It was an amazing experience so I thought I would try them again for my siding. I could not be happier. They were professional, showed up on time, completed the work quickly, and cleaned up the mess to where I could not tell they have been here except my house looked AMAZING! The installers were so nice and the work was incredible. The salesman even came out while they were installing and after it was complete to make sure I was happy. Larry sealed the window and replaced the outer trim for me. It looks great now and I don't have to worry about it leaking! I'm very happy with the result and the level of service!"

After several attempts to find someone to fix our brick retaining wall(either didn't show up or said couldn't start for months), I contacted Fred. He had me send pictures and then quoted price and time he could be at the house. He came with an assistant and they did a fantastic job. We thought it would take several hours and they were finished in four. He tried to take less money than he quoted cause he said job was easier then he thought, but we gave him the full amount. We are very pleased!
