"The shutter replacement went very well and everyone was very complementary about the new shutters. The laundry area door replacement ended up nice but I had/still have concerns. The source of the concern is that the original opening the old door hung in was not square. The installer ended up using a lot of filler to make it look right. So right now everything is great. He showed up right on time for the appointment and after I showed him the broken pocket door and explaining that I wanted all the hardware to be replaced including the top track. He wanted to make sure about the quality of the top track I like him to buy, so gave him my specification that is to get an aluminium track and 3 wheel rollers, I was tired of spending money to repair every year. He called me the night before to make sure I will be home. He showed up on time to start the work. I told him here you are, I will be in my home office, when done just call me. So, took a little longer that I expected it, because of wall sheathing being plaster board, but when he called me and went to see the completed project, to my surprise, he had completed the job and just about ready to paint the access opening of the wall - which you need to open to replace the track. He charged me exactly what we verbally agreed and I was very happy that after so many years of search and work with so many handyman, I finally found a professional and honest person who respected the verbal contract and did not charge me more for the extra unexpected site issues. Garry has very good communication skills and keeps you updated with the schedules and appointments via cell phone. I will recommend him to anyone for a small or medium projects. All I can say "what a guy.""

"Nice man from previous work done. Habitually late or not initially prepared. Once started work is acceptable. Brought him back for several estimates. Late. Never heard back from him again. Already know I will be hearing from him as he does not find any B ratings acceptable and stated that he was no longer receiving work because of my rating. Being a kind man, felt bad and edited my ratings.  This last time, had requested bids for a backyard patio, floor replacement; walkway, kitchen, guest and master bath, window installations, and a few small easy repairs. Never heard back from him again. Previously had 3 contacts with him. Again, a very nice man unless you give him a B rating. I'm nervous about being honest here but my husband said to include my experiences as we were on a tight deadline to get the work done and completely missing our anticipated dates to get work done. Our fault for not looking into a backup person. Would go back and be honest with my reviews yet no longer find it necessary. Do not want him to contact me any longer. <br />"

We had discovered that the concrete outer wall had cracked and recent severe storms had pushed water into our front wall, causing mold growth and drywall damage inside. <br /> Naturally, mold remediation was a priority. We got a quick estimate, straight talk about the uncertainties of what would be discovered in the walls, quick mobilization of subcontractors (stucco specialist), and advice about other water damage. I particularly liked that he got an independent verification that the mold was indeed back to normal levels, so we're sure it got done. <br /> Mr Berry noticed water damage to the eaves, which we had not been paying attention to, so we had him also repair what needed repair and paint it all. <br /> I'd be very happy to work with this outfit again if need arises."

He power washed my patio BEFORE blowing the leaves and sticks off my roof, so all the debris landed on my just cleaned patio, and he didn't follow up to clean it off. <br /> He forgot to do the garage door and was all packed up when he asked me to inspect, so I just let it ride. <br /> <br /> <br />"
