"Great people to work with. Very professional. Large selection and willing to obtain other samples for viewing. We are curious and picky and they were very patient and helpful answering our many questions. The installers were clean, organized and didn't mind our questions either. They installed flooring in 5 rooms and we are very happy. We are going back to them for new carpet too. Try them we are sure you will like them. Happy wife, happy life. cheers"

"OVERALL, my husband and I had a horrible experience with RC Willey and we have bought some pretty expensive things a FEW TIMES. my CURRENT problem, they scheduled to pick up their items for today sept 8 between 830-1030am. Ive been sitting here waiting and tracking them on my phone and it is now 1115am. I have not received a courtesy call or a call communicating they will be late or behind schedule. Im wondering why they couldnt at the very least communicate with me and let me know they are late or to reschedule. second problem: it hasnt even been a year.. and the 6 beautiful dining chairs that we bought had a major issue. I was having family over for dinner and in the middle of dinner my chair popped and i dropped down! it was extremely embarrassing. i also weight 160 pounds. i thought it was my weight. turns out my sister who is 145 pounds fell through as well! my entire family then stood up and got off the chairs, for fear in gettin hurt. I call RC Wiley and they schedule for someone to look and inspect the chairs. The inspector said himself "Wow! looks like these are ALL DEFECTIVE! it was only a matter of time before all these springs wouldve given out, so its a good thing youre not sitting on them anymore!" those were the exact words of the inspector - who was really nice. but how unbelievable. RC wiley then says we will have to give you a credit because we no longer sell those chairs BECAUSE they are DEFECTIVE. so instead of getting new chairs, they gave us a credit which does us no good because my husband and I purchased these chairs on sale for 69 dollars. We tried looking for a nice linen chair for 69 and found absolutely nothing around that price. they all were too expensive around 150 and up! After pleading with them, they gave us a refund. I did not appreciate how the salesman who sold us these chairs said he has the same chairs and theres never been a problem. it honestly made me feel like he was saying we were being deceitful or indecent. he also added in that his friends has the same chairs and they had no problem. It made me feel dismissed and that I had something to do with the dang chairs. the same salesman than schedules a pick up for the defective chairs and wanted to charge us a pick up FEE!!! for THEIR DEFECTIVE chairs! i was blown away at their customer service. this was just ONE STORY. 2nd story: we bought a thousand dollar kitchen table, where the paint would chip off, literally just peeled right off when you put a glass down. how does a thousand dollar table do that? we returned and bought it again and again totaling 3 tables- as the men who picked up the table said "oh maybe its just THIS table, like you got a bad one" 3 tables later i was done and finally returned it as all tables had the paint so easily peel right off. if im going to sit at this table for dinner i need a glass of water and so does everyone else. I mean how do you sit down for dinner and have no drinks on the table? 3rd story. we bought a thousand dollar 95 in tv console that is LOP - SIDED. a pen will role right off. i complained and said the delivery guys didnt set it up right bc its lop sided and they hesitantly sent out someone to inspect it. turns out they forgot to put a middle piece in - which STILL did NOT help. the pen still rolls right off. aggravated and past the 14 day return policy (thinking that the guy who they sent out would fix it) my husband and i had to buy flat legs to go under the front of the console table just to make it more even.... after spending 1000 dollars. honestly, take it from us. we have spent thousands of dollars here and every single thing we bought was defective or has a problem. from the kitchen table, to the dining chairs, to the console table. we will never buy something from RC willey again. In addition, I feel so violated and taken advantaged of in a way, to be asked to pay a pick up fee for THEIR DEFECTIVE chairs that couldve hurt us. If i or my mom had actually fallen through the chair at dinner???? and your asking me to pay a delivery fee? the chairs are their problem. not mine. we bought the chairs in good faith that the chair would be good. then it turns out its defective and RC willey needs it back in order to give a refund - so youre going to ask me to pay to give it back when its defective and your mistake? At the bottom of each chair ALL the springs popped out. we were sitting ducks about to fall through at any time. the inspector was shocked there was no backing or frame or bar to hold a person. He literally said the only thing that is holding you up is foam and staples because all the wire springs have popped out. Then again for the salesman to say "well i have these chairs and ive never had an issue so...." Do NOT buy form RC willey. -My pick up guy is late, with no communication that they were behind schedule. -the salesman wanted us to pay a pick up fee for their mistake and defective products that they WANT BACK. -every single item we bought has a problem or is defective my husband did tell the salesman that it does not make sense that they sold us a defective product, and that it couldve hurt us if we fell through, that we would have to pay the pick up fee. although the salesman was trying to get us to pay the fee, he finally and hesitantly agreed for us to not pay. please be careful purchasing anything from here. Id understand having a problem with one item. but not 6 chairs, 3 kitchen dining tables, and a 95 in console table. i wasnt going to write a review but after all thats happened and now the pick up is late with no communication about them being behind schedule? that is not professional at all. Communication is owed at the very minimum especially if its your mistake on the time. this is my honest opinion and review. heres a picture of what the bottom of the chairs looked like. mind you, we have NO kids, NO pets and we only sit at the table a FEW TIMES A WEEK."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Oregon House, CA

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
