"Said I needed to approach city or county about repair as it was their responsibility (water run-off drain); suggested I might even need to involve the Mayor's Action Committee (implying he didn't think the county/city would "get around" to the job without taking it to the mayor.) "I checked with three other companies and US Water impressed me with their knowledge and punctuality. Also their ability to come down a bit on the price was a help. I was trying to remove a large amount of rust from my system as well as get a functioning water softener. The technician was on time and friendly. Once the old water softner was removed, things started to get a little more complicated as the piping back to the pressure tank was rotted, as well as the pressure tank itself. A hurried trip to the plumbing store was needed to ensure I had water for the evening. The owner and I discussed the cost of this additional repair, and we agreed to worry about it after the repair was complete. Installation was halted after the pressure tank and new lines where run because it was 8PM. They agreed to come back in the morning to finish the installation of the rest of the system. The next day they showed up on time and finished installing everything. They cleaned up after themselves and explained the whole process and how it all worked. When we went to settle the final bill, we agreed to split the cost of the new pressure tank and parts, with the labor being thrown in for free. I ended up with a new pressure tank and piping for $100 which is cheaper than I could have done it myself. Since then the system has functioned flawlessly, and there is no more rust in the water. "I arranged for the heater to be checked on Wednesday the 4th.  Before the service call Andrew called and was able to save to time and effort from looking at cell phone photos of the problem.   The plumber who perfromed the installation arrived on schedule with the new water heater.  Installation was quick and the job was completed in about 2 hours time.  Hot water was restored and my wife was very happy.   Service was very quick and the price was quite reasonable.   I was very happy that the job could be done well and at such a good price.

"The technician that preformed the service(s), Austin C. (Plumbing Pro), with Service Plus Heating Cooling & Plumbing, was professional, knowledgeable, friendly & efficient. Initially we were just looking for someone to change our kitchen faucet with one we had already purchased. We decided to go with Service Plus because of there good rating on Home Advisor. After Austin changed our kitchen faucet he spoke with us about there, Service Plus Heating Cooling & Plumbing, maintenance program. He explained that if we signed up for the maintenance program with them today, a free water heater flush & fill came with it. At least I believe it was free? I could be mistaken about that? We had been looking to change from our current heating/cooling/plumbing companies maintenance program to someone new because we were just not happy with them. So, it was perfect timing for us to make the change. While Austin was draining the water heater he noticed calcium & pieces of metal. He showed me the calcium & pieces of metal coming from my water heater while it was being drained, and also explained to me what the reason(s) for it was. Come to find out our water softener was not working properly which caused the problems with the water heater. We could have waited until the water heater actually stopped working, but decided to just change it now before it failed and we didn’t have any hot water. We also decided to replace our current water softener since it was not working properly and Austin noticed that there was no brand name or sticker from the original installers. For all we know, it could have been a used system sold to us as new. Either way, it wasn’t working properly so we had it replaced by Austin with Service Plus Heating Cooling & Plumbing, Inc.
