"We worked with S&W to renovate a kitchen, powder bathroom, hall bathroom and completely create a bathroom. It was a huge, huge process. We have a 1930s colonial and we were looking for someone that could create rooms that would fit in the vibe of this home, but be very functional and durable for our young family. We followed Larissa, our designer, on Instagram and contacted her - she met with us quickly and was bubbling over with ideas for our project. Larissa is talented, organized, incredibly responsive and detail-oriented. She has a knack for creating spaces that are gorgeous and functional. She understands how a family actually lives in a home and helped guide my husband and I in selecting layouts, fixtures, and products that would support our needs. Larissas team is also fantastic - they’re equally dedicated to producing quality work, even on hard jobs. Related to the construction side of S&W… this is always going to be a little tricker b/c to my knowledge NO ONE loves living in construction, which is exactly what we did (with a toddler). However, hindsight being 20/20, I will say that the teams selected by S&W did quality work. Certainly there were times that I felt that we needed more communication, more results. But, overall, our end product is superb. Additionally, there was always a person to escalate a problem to and the problem was always handled. Anything that we found to be less than, they’d work to get fixed. Even after our project wrapped, Mike (our PM by the end) dispatched relevant teams to correct any small issues that cropped up. In addition to the gorgeous end product in our kitchen and 3 bathrooms, I'd say a huge benefit is that S&W will stick to their word, they will show up, they will answer their phones (even after the project is wrapped). Which I think is pretty unique and shows a level of quality that I would recommend."

Actually, we decided to buy this particular house, knowing that Chad and his crew could transform it to match our vision. One of the major projects involved a kitchen area remodel and the other a complete demo and remodel of our sunken great room. The whole crew was easy to work with with no arrogance - just confidence. The extent of our work was almost a complete first floor remodel with a project span of months. Services completed include interior walls knocked down, studs replaced in many exterior walls, complete kitchen removal and installation, backyard landscape work, new bathrooms down to the studs, stucco work, electrical, hardwood & tile flooring, and more. "Our home was left in shambles (not livable) for over 5 weeks by the previous "contractor" who turned out to be a total flop: no license, no true experience in the scope of project we were doing. We were scrambling trying to find someone to help us with the mess we were left with. We contacted Mr. Martin Lecina, who came out to take a look at the house immediately and gave us a very reasonable quote within a day. We decided to take a chance and hire Mr. Lecina and his crew based on the professionalism and knowledge he exhibited at the initial meeting. To our delight, they started the project the very next week as promised. Unlike the previous horrendous experience we've had, Mr. Martin kept the communication line open 24/7, and ALWAYS kept his words. Despite the fact that it rained HEAVILY for 2+ weeks straight from the very beginning of the project (all exterior work: windows, sidings, stucco repair, wood repair, painting of entire exterior), Mr. Lecina's crew showed up bright and early every single day, and worked non-stop until each day's work was completed. They were very courteous, knowledgeable and skillful. The crew cleaned up and were very respectful to our home, which we greatly appreciated (stark contrast from our previous experience). The quality of their work is top-notch! Very meticulous and truly had the homeowners best interest at heart. The entire project was finished within the time frame as promised by Mr. Lecina. Mr. Lecina and his crew were a Godsend to us; they rescued us from a total nightmare. It is so rare to come by an HONEST and knowledgeable contractor nowadays, and we felt like we hit the jackpot with Mr. Lecina's company. We cannot say enough great things about General Constructions of Orlando. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!"
