"Everything was done as advertised. Really like my new carpet and got a great price. The installers worked like crazy, spent more than 10 hours they never even took a break. They earned every penny of what they make."

"I originally hired Carpet Police to clean the carpets in my house. They were the first to respond when I got on Angie's List. Somehow, Carpet Police got usurped by another company called Arizona Island. Arizona Island did a terrible job and I called Carpet Police, again, to please come and repair the bad carpet cleaning that was done. Carpet Police did as good a job as I could possible expect to fix what went wrong. Alfonso was efficient, friendly, wore his mask when he was inside and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."

"I was really impressed. They were very helpful, punctual, and easy to deal with. The carpet was great and the installers did a good job. <br /> What really impressed me though is that about 10 days before my carpet was to be installed they called and told me that they hadn't rece4ived it from the manufacturer, and that the manufacturer had repeatedly postponed shipment. While the manufacturer said they would still deliver in time, they knew that they were just going to postpone more. They offered to let me select any other carpet for the same price. <br /> I went back down and Dave called the manufacturers of the ones i was interested in and found out what was in stock and could be delievered on time. The carpet that I selected cost $.50 per sq yard more, but they did not charge me more. It was installed on time and was beautiful. <br /> Thanks to their salesman Dave Nord for seeing and solving the problem before it became one! <br />"

"Adam arrived a little earlier than the estimated time, after calling first to let us know he was on his way.  He looked at the carpets to be cleaned, then gave us an estimate of $85.  After he'd worked for a while, he let us know that it would be $95 because the carpets were dirtier than he'd anticipated, which seemed reasonable.  There weren't any stains on the carpets, but they hadn't been cleaned in many years.   We were thrilled with the results -- the carpets are cleaner than we ever expected and you can see the original color again. <br />"

"I found Anasi Flooring on Angie's list and am very pleased to provide an outstanding review for them.    Jekiah is one of the most pleasant people you could ever work and was knowledable, honest, professional, and 100% helpful every step of the way.  His crew of guys were just fantastic -- hard working, clean, efficient, and excellent at what they do.   We went with a Shaw "fired hickory" porcelain plank tile that was put in through over half of our house.   It looks beautiful, just like real wood, but less expensive and much easier to care for.  We did the baseboards in the same planks, split to 3" boards.  We are completely satisfied with our experience with Anasi Flooring and plan on re-doing carpet in a few rooms with them soon.  I'm a big Costco fan, but remarkably, Costco's bid was almost DOUBLE what I paid with Anasi for the exact same product.  Please check out this family-owned Tucson small business, and be confident that they will do a great flooring job for you at a very fair price.   Jekiah, Jorge, and the crew have my highest recommendation.   Thanks for an awesome job, guys.  Our house looks amazing!      A++++++ <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Service was excellent and the man who performed the cleaning was personable and competent. He was thorough and did everything possible to make this a pleasant experience. I would be happy to contact them again to clean my carpets again. <br /> two of the areas had deep stains and the man who did the cleaning tried very hard to remove them but let me know up front that it may be impossible to do do. He was able to clean one are almost completely and the other was greatly reduced. I was very happy with this company. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Oro Valley, AZ

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
