"I have three grandkids and two sloppy adults sons who visit, and these guys got the carpets incredibly clean. I've been using them for years, since 2001, but this might have been their biggest challenge -- and they answered with flying colors."

"Mr. Bollenbacher arranged for an estimate appointment and left me with an accurate description of what would be entailed, how long it would take, and a price. For the actual work appointment, he was right on time and did a very good job. He had plenty of furniture and closet items to move, but performed the job in less than expected time. There was also a floor sqeak which he repaired. Mr. Bollenbacher was very polite, friendly, and efficient. I wowuld recommend him to anyone who asks and I would definitely hire him again. <br />"

"I was on a mad hunt for a vinyl flooring product that I found online. Most of the retailers listed didn't exist or they had never heard of the product. I contacted Collins and Co Inc. They were not listed, but still they searched and found what I was looking for. It's a product that was available only in South Korea. They ordered some samples of it, and I ended up going with the second product from the same company. They ordered and got it imported for me. They were absolutely wonderful. Now I am planning to buy some carpets from them. They were beyond everything that I expected, after dealing with more than 15 other foreign companies in the region. They were absolutely superb. I can say enough of good things about them. After I got in contact with Collins and Co, they have become my favorites, and I will work with them all the year round. It was just a small order of one box. It was very easy for them to pull me of, because it wasn't a huge profit for them, but still they did it. I spent under $200 to get those tiles. The price was fair and competitive. I will absolutely use them again in the future"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Osceola, IN

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
