"Dave has helped us many times to repair appliances - Refrigerator, Washer for us and our daughter. Most repairmen are parts replacers -diagnose and locate the bad part and replace it. That is fine in most instances. However, not many have the knowledge or experience to actually repair a part that has gone bad. It makes sense to do that in some instances. Dave has done that for us when needed. He "grew up" among appliances and so has the knowledge to actually fix things when warranted. I can not recommend him highly enough. I am not one to give compliments easily but in his case, it is well earned."

"as I called The Appliance Shop last Friday, and the receptionist took my information and arranged for a service call on Monday.  She indicated that they would give us a phone call on Monday before the technician arrived and give us enough time to be sure to be present when he arrived.  On Monday I called back and asked if they could come as early as possible, given that we had some activities that would take us away from the house during the day.  She arranged with the technician to make us his second stop for the day, so he was here by 9:30 a.m.  When he arrived he dismantled the dryer and carefully checked all of the switches to make sure they were functional and not responsible for the problem.  The last step was to check the power source, and he determined that the 220 receptacle was faulty and the reason for the problem.  The dryer was fine, the power source unreliable.  I indicated I would change out the receptacle on my own.  The bill for the analysis was $53.26, a very reasonable price for exactly the information I needed.  I changed out the receptacle and the dryer is back in business. Jeremy was professional and very capable.  I was completely impressed with the punctuality and performance of the technician and the company.
