"Marcelo and his team did a beautiful job on my bathroom remodel. They got rid of the old pink tile and bathtub that was covered with Bath Fitter panels that caused mold. They were punctual and communicated any issues and gave me suggestions about how the tile should be laid. They cleaned up everyday before they left. Marcelo is meticulous, so don’t expect a rush job. He built and installed a linen cabinet for the bathroom as well. I hired them again to cover the old plaster walls in the bedrooms with 3/8” Sheetrock because they weren’t in the best condition. They taped, plastered and primed the walls so well that I don’t want to paint them. They also installed new windows and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We’ve already started designing my dream kitchen for next Spring’s project. Hire them, you will not be disappointed!!"

"I was very lucky to find Colin Young and his great crew, carpenter David Hackett and his talented son, Andrew. We were taking down an old deck and adding a room to our house, along with doing a little kitchen remodeling. Dave and Andrew are excellent craftsmen. They also came up with creative solutions to some tricky design problems. Dave and Andrew always showed up on time, worked hard, then cleaned up the site at the end of the day. My step-father was a builder and I learned from him that there are right ways and wrong ways to do a job. Dave and Andrew did things the right way, and never cut corners. "We recently had an “old school” original 1970’s Cape Cod kitchen fully remodeled including adding a slider. Richard did a great job from planning and design (shout out to Hanna on this), to demo, to install, to finish work. Richard was on time, reliable, and not your typical Cape contractor. Super clean at all times and was able to work with us on various hiccups/unexpected stuff along the way. He explained options and the pros and cons of each possible choice. He never upcharged us (unless we asked for something) and was exactly on budget. Very happy with his work and would definitely recommend. We will likely call on him again for our next project."

"I was initially very happy with the work and the progress being made on the two bathrooms but as time went by, the project was being neglected as, I assume other jobs took precedent and the communication became nil. The plumber was a disaster making multiple mistakes and leaving a filthy mess behind after working in the house, including leaving tools on our bed and the old toilet in the bedroom, rather than bringing it to his truck or the basement. The job kept dragging on and as it did, Mike was getting more frustrated and angry with us! He had two workmen, one of whom always smelled of alcohol and was constantly having health problems. After months of labor and bad feelings between us, I wanted the job done and the workmen gone, even though my shower does not drain. Now, every time I take a shower, I have to kick the water into the drain with my foot and soak it up with a wash cloth which takes time. It is infuriating after all the money I paid and the incredibly long time it took."

"Beware. Have extremely detailed plans and specifications. This contractor makes everything a change order at exorbitant prices. The remodel of a condo unit took over 18mos because contractor takes on more work than team can handle. Many mistakes are due to lack of supervision and his staff does not maintain a clean worksite causing waste and lost materials. He does not have electrical or plumbing subcontractors. His pricing is not transparent and he uses change orders to increase his profit. He takes no responsibility and is difficult to work with. Have a detailed time schedule backed by a holdback from each payment that is released only on satisfactory completion."
