"My first appointment with the estimator had to be rescheduled.  I had taken off work 2 hours early to meet the contractor at my house.  He called and notified me that he was running late and then called an hour later to say that he needed to reschedule because of an installation issue at another location required his immediate assistance.  I rescheduled for a few days later and took off from work to mee the contractor.  He was punctual this time and appologized several times for the prior appointment.  He appeared to do a thorough job of measuring and inspecting the house and attic area and also reviewed the various types of shingles and installation techniques. <br /> A few days later I received the written estimate with itemized details on the price.  The contractor indicated that he included an extra discount on the the price of the shingles since he had inconvenienced me earlier with the broken appointment. <br /> I received a couple follow up calls from the contractors secretary asking if I had made a decision.  <br /> I ended up post-poning this roofing project for another time due to another priority for home repair.  I would certainly consider calling this contractor again when I am ready to re-visit the roofing project. <br />"

"Robert and his crew did an excellent job. They were very careful and attentive to detail. I was impressed with their dedication to do quality work. When a board had a slight gap in it, Robert's technician expended great effort to scrape the plank off of the floor (our lower level flooring was glued to the concrete slab) and replace it with a new one. Robert also was very careful to do our stairways just right, and came back several times after we had already paid him to do touch ups! <br /> He will also move furniture, which other installers will not do, or will charge extra for doing. Robert's quote was about a thousand dollars less than Flooring Express' own installers (not counting furniture moving, which Flooring Express installers would have charged a lot for), and about half of what another contractor wanted. <br /> Robert has a small operation and he can't send in ten guys to finish a job in one day, so you have to be a little patient with the scheduling sometimes, but it is well worth it for quality work. I recommend them highly!! <br />"

".The owner, Lonnie May, called me 30 minutes after getting my email, which was impressive because we've called other companies about doing work on this home and couldn't even get a return call. He said he was out running errands and wanted to know if we could meet him that day. It was a Sunday. Another pleasant surprise. So, he came over to the house and I showed him the trouble rooms and told him what we wanted. He saw a few other areas that needed attention (like the ceiling) and said he could fix it as well. We had tried doing the bathroom drywall and I think the perfectionist in him couldn't handle what he saw and said that he would go in and "straighten that out" for us. Trust me, It needed it! The original walls in the other two rooms were plaster and we didn't want the mess or expense of tearing them out so he told me a few options that we had. We decided in the interest of time and money, we would drywall over the plaster. Lonnie wrote an estimate that day and told me to give him a call when we were ready to start. We called him later that day and within a few days he had his crew over there starting the job. We were in a hurry to get the tenant moved in so he squeezed us in between other jobs. With in a week we had new beautiful walls and a matching stippled ceiling. He kept in constant contact with us through the whole process and was VERY prompt in returning our calls. Tippecanoe Dry walls motto is "Building trust through quality". They have our trust and we are hiring him to do some outside work for us :) VERY satisfied with the quality and price and will call them in the future!!"
