"When we decided to finally upgrade our fence, we scoped out some of the fences in our neighborhood. One of the fences that stood out for its craftsmanship and beauty had a CLM Home Improvements sign on it. I contacted Carlos for a quote and he was responsive, professional, and polite. Carlos listened to our concerns, offered suggestions, and gave us a few options to choose from. We were concerned this process might take a while because we live on a corner and our fence required a permit. In fact, another fence company wouldn't even work with us because our project required a permit. Carlos kept us informed throughout the permit process, which was not as bad as we had anticipated. On installation day, Carlos and his team arrived promptly and removed our old, ugly chain link fence and installed a beautiful 6' wooden privacy fence. We couldn't be more thrilled with it! As far as pricing, CLM's price was the best -- in one case nearly $5K LOWER than what another company quoted us! "I contacted Metropolitan chimney when we discovered water dripping inside our fireplace.  Oscar was very professional on the phone and arranged to come out to look that afternoon.  He arrived promptly and assessed our chimney.  After 25 years, the concrete crown needed to be replaced.  He also sealed several areas and replaced mortar joints that were cracked/damaged.  After all repairs were completed he applied waterproofing to the entire outside chimney.  After the next rain, we did still have a minor drip.  I called and spoke with Oscar and he was out to our home within 3 hours.  He inspected every brick of the chimney again and repaired a few more possible problem areas.  He did not charge any additional fee for this return trip.  We have had absolutely no problems since the repair and are VERY happy with Metropolitan Chimney and Oscar.  I would really recommend them for anyone that needs chimney or masonry services.
