"Needed help installing a dryer vent through a brick wall... Didnt have the right tools to drill a 4 inch hole in bricks efficiently and decided to hire someone. I spent two hours trying to do this with minimal progress... told my wife I'd be laughing if the guy showed up and knocked it out in an hour. Franklin came out and drilled the hole for me in about 45 minutes for a reasonable price. He had all the right tools and made quick work of a task that would have taken me several hours and buying some new tools. Great work franklin!"

The new 24000 BTU Mini-Split was installed, wiring work, and all cleanup was done by Zack HVAC Services in one day. Professional, efficient, and courteous team that delivered. "The two Fairfax employees that came to install the mount were incredibly friendly and professional. They took the time to really investigate the best way to install the mount to minimize any visible cords or equipment. They kept me updated on what they were doing and what they were thinking in terms of a plan and approach and made sure that they got my feedback, comments, and approval before putting anything in place. My mounting location was particuarly tricky given the layout and the wall contents, but they figured out the best way to install and mount everything. We are super happy with the work and would gladly use Fairfax AV in the future for any home theater type installations in the future. Highly recommended.

"Oscar was a very responsive and provided a thorough survey of the existing chimney.  He produced a quote while onsite.  The quote came in lower than another company previously provided, so I decided to go with Metropolitan.  Oscar was able to accept a 20% deposit via credit card on the spot.  He scheduled our work for the next week.  Two days prior, he called to confirm the installation date and arrival time.  The crew showed up on time and worked the entire day without issue.  Unfortunately it rained for the next few days, so no work was able to be done. The crew did show up again at 4P the day after it stopped raining, and then at 4P the next day to work some more.  Each day they were only able to complete a few things before shutting down.  I imagine this was a result of trying to fit in existing jobs that had to be fit in due to all the rain, but it would have been nice to receive a revised schedule.  The next day was a full work day and the work was complete.  The guys did a nice job cleaning up.  Oscar came by the next morning to show me close up pictures of the work and to collect the final money owed. Overall, I enjoyed working with Oscar.  He seems like a very honest man and I would trust his team to perform future work at our residence.

"There were a lot of issues initially and I contacted Angie’s List and you were able to help us resolve it. What happened was that I got the deal, I wanted my daughter to use it because the kind of windows that they were going to install weren’t appropriate for my house and I felt that my daughter can profit from that under the circumstances better than I could. So she took the deal and it was not so good initially because apartments were not kept but it turned out fine because they got the windows done and they were pleased with them. They honored the price for two windows. The problem was with scheduling and that sort of thing. The issue was not really honoring the commitment to come at a certain time or to get the work done by a certain time. They did a good job of installation once they did it. I only had one contact with them and I wasn’t happy with that because he wanted to do a complete inspection of the house and I was focused on the windows not so much so on insulation. So I knew that wasn’t good for me and I wasn’t happy with that interaction but here again, in all fairness my daughter was satisfied with the interaction that she had."
