I got several bids from different roofing contractors. Some of them started out with an extremely high price and when I was not satisfied they kept reducing there price which is suspect at that point. Mike from Extreme Exterior came to our home and with zero pressure explained our options, made suggestions when we ask him and answered all of our questions. We never felt rushed or pressured. In fact, it took my wife and I about 20 minutes into our conversation to determine we wanted to hire extreme exteriors, but I told mike I needed a day to think about it, as I always do. I was so pleased that he didn’t do what a lot of contractors do at that point which is too pressure us into signing the contract. We felt the price for the roof was really fair so we contacted mike and signed the contract the following day. The roof looks beautiful, the team cleaned up all of the debris from the old roof. "The job went well.  Once into the tuck pointing part of the job, it was obvious that a lot of mortar behind the outside brick had eroded away.  Michael did a great job making sure the job was done correctly.  As for the roof, the fixes he did, addressed the problem of leaking at the flashing.

When it rained, it leaked and caused damage to my family room ceiling- a definite mark against All Weather Seal, BUT, I must say that I have never seen a company stand behind its work like they did. They immediately sent in a crew that tore out the damaged area, re-drywalled it, then repainted the entire Family/dining Room area, and of course fixed the faulty roof panel.

"We chose SureGuard even though we had better quotes from other companies because we were sold on promise that work would be completed by their crews and supervised by their foreman daily. We loved the idea of hiring a local business that uses their own crews. It was obvious once work began that SureGuard was subcontracting work to other companies, and they did not send their foreman with these crews. The paint crew arrived and didn’t seem to have a complete picture of the work to be performed. They were difficult to communicate with and we had questions about the quality of their workmanship. I ended up having to place calls with their office to address my concern. To SureGuards credit, they did send out someone the following morning and my concerns were addressed. The work did turn out ok in the end, however the process was stressful. Had we known they were going to sub out the work we would have gone with the other bids. I would consider them for roofing, which appears to be their core business."
