"We were very, very fortunate to find West Roofing (owner: Joe Elady). They did an outstanding job on with the replacement of our 16 Unit building's 10000 Sqft roof. The rains from earlier in the year has caused water damaged in multiple units and owners were very anxious to replace the roof before the rain season starts again. The roof vetting process was very discouraging. Contactors were either too busy to entertain a new project, their process seemed lacking and unclear, flaky with appointment commitments, or bids left us exposed for surprise costs that could occur during the roof replacement process. After 4 months of searching we found West Roofing. Our patience paid off. At this time we were very experienced at the vetting process. We met with the owner, Joe Elady, three times. He had the patience to listen, took the time to clearly explain what would be done to our roof and exactly what materials would be used. He was both easy to talk to, and understand. Also, Joe was accessible throughout the job from beginning to end. He and his crew where very professional, considerate of the neighbors, and cleaned up the area after each day. I cannot recommend them enough. I would give them 6 stars. Positives: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value"

"The roof seems OK but ultimately I would not recommend Artizmo. They initially quoted 22k to tear up the shingles and replace with new. Once the roof was torn open, they hit us for another 8.5k due to redecking they decided was needed. A very extreme jump in cost, but OK - so what do I get for an additional 8.5k? A mish mash of scrap planks cut out of small patches of the existing decking. Not even ONE board was completely replaced (see photos). I pushed back on the 8.5k number but at no point would they provide detailed information about sqft of wood replaced for that 8.5k. That and they already had the roof ripped up so we were forced to pay whatever they wanted to continue. Additionally, they insisted it would be better for them to replace the fascia while doing the roof. Well, see the pictures to see what they considered ?done?. At no point did they indicate that they were only going to spot replace small sections (and actually cut existing fascia just to put a small plank in)"

"We hired Roofing Angels in late November 2025 to replace a leaking roof on our duplex, paid a $1,000 deposit promptly, and what followed was nearly four months of delays, disorganization, and surprise charges. From the start, communication was poor. They repeatedly blamed permitting and city hall for delays, promising the permit was "always around the corner" and that we'd be first up once the new year started ? that never materialized on time. When heavy rains hit in mid-January and the leak was getting worse, I pushed them to tarp the roof in the meantime. They tarped the wrong unit of our duplex. The tarp was also done so poorly it was flying off the roof, and our tenant's unit continued to leak throughout. By mid-February they still hadn't broken ground, this time blaming the rainy season.
