"Justin arrive promptly on a Sunday, as we needed the work done immediately.  He removed the stained piece of carpet in a spare bedroom while another member of his team stretched out the wrinkle in the master bathroom carpet.  Everything was completed in less than 1 hour and their work was perfect, no mess left behind.  I would certainly use them again and would highly recommend their work."

"It really bothers me that I have to give a less than excellent review because the technician was great and did his job as required. It was the lack of response by the owner that was lacking. Scheduled for Feb. 21 and technician arrived on time. All the rooms looked great. The carpets were not extremely dirty. The only area that you could see was a path from the den into the small hallway. Technician was very professional and did a great job with the carpeting and cleaning up afterwards. You cannot see the results until the carpet dries. The next day there was a stain in dining room that was not originally there and in the living room there originally was an outline stain from a metal planter that had leaked. The cleaning in the living room had loosened the stain from the outline and spread it all around the initial stain. Feb 23, I called and spoke with owner who said the technician would come back and clean those two spots again. The technician was very accommodating and arrived that afternoon. I understand what had happened. The stain in dining room surfaced upon the cleaning where the water loosened it up and it rose. The living room stain may have been rust from the metal container but the cleaning loosened that and spread it around. That stain had been covered with a plastic tray under the planter so you could not see it. Now it is a big circle more than 2 feet in diameter. On Saturday, February 24, I called owner Gustavo and mentioned that I did not want the area cleaned again as the second cleaning did not do anything and I was concerned about the carpeting being worn away. I did request that he come and look at the problem and tell me what could be done. I explained he did not have to come immediately. I further stated that he could come anytime the following week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and it was agreed that he would call us to let us know the time. Unfortunately, never heard from him. We have a shampooer and I originally thought of doing the job myself but my wife and I agreed it would be too big of a job for seniors and a professional cleaner would do a better job. My major concern is that the owner did not follow up on the promise that he would do so."

"The company that I had come in for carpet sales and installation was a company here in town called Carpets Galore. The price was the lowest in town for the carpets and the installation. The installers scratched our furniture and gadgets. They broke one of the frames and no one ever returned my call to repair them. They had the best price in town, we got 5 other estimates.  The quality of the carpet is very good except for the installers. They didn’t really take care with moving our furniture. They put our stuff on top of each other, side ways and the dresser sideways. The installer was nice and all that, they didn't really pay too much attention to our stuff. For responsiveness, they said and they never called me back; for showing up and everything they were good. I would go there for a carpet if they give me a different installer."

"All went perfectly.  Bob was extremely responsive to our questions and concerns throughout the entire process.  He helped us select a great carpet and padding.  Carpet was installed on the exact day promised.  The installation team did a fantastic job including removing and carting away the laminate flooring.  When it is time to install hardwood downstairs, I will not hesitate to call upon Bob at Carpets N More again. <br />"

"took the purple and covered in white dog hair in to them. <br /> <br />they stopped what they were doing and attended to my fiasco immediately. <br /> <br />i got to watch and they explained everything they were doing. <br /> <br />they pulled enough dirt and mosture out of it so that i was able to to take it straight home and lay it on the tile floor to dry.  <br /> <br />a good job!  i used them when i lived in another state, and their quality is still just as good. <br /> <br />i'll definitely be back! <br />"

"Wonderfully. Salesman Chris understood the urgency resulting from my shorted out cooktop. He took the time to search through inventory to identify models that were immediately available. He also made sure that an installer would be available within a couple of days. The installers called ahead and arrived wearing masks, which I particularly appreciated. They had the old stovetop out and the new one installed in record time. They verified that everything was working properly and asked if I had any questions before they left. I could not have been more satisfied!"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Pahrump, NV

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
